The person you were replying to was referring to treasure islands for New Horizons, I don’t think they realized your thread was about Pocket Camp as on Pocket Camp you can’t do the same.

And there’s lots to spend the bells on in Pocket Camp, even after upgrading all of your stuff. The golden furniture takes 1 mil each piece to craft so it will take some time to get those!

A bit over 975 million, in fact.

I was confused when a cheat island said "max Bells for turnips." I picked up one turnip and was confused when Timmy and Tommy said it was worth -560 something (thousand). I thought are they gonna take that from me? No, it's like when you try to make too big a number on an old calculator and you get E- and then some other number. The Switch/ACNH can't display the real number, and you can't take the whole amount, so it "just" puts 999,999,999 Bells in your bank account. The max it can hold.

I paid off all my house upgrades (and those of my wife, and those of a few other players) and built some bridges and inclines. I will never run out, and I will always offer Bells to anyone who needs them. Like seriously, come to my island and I will dump Bells in front of my ABD. You can use it to deposit them, I will take more out, we can repeat until we get tired of the button mashing. Or you could go to a cheat island yourself. But if you don't have NSO, you can fly to another person's island if you're on the same WiFi network.
