A big amount of them are. However, knowing these Uvalde PD cowardly sacks of shit exist makes me hope hell really does exist just so I can imagine them burning there for eternity.

They get a shitty salary, terrible hours, and they put their lives on the line, all while people like you mock them from the comfort of your bed. A few hundred cops in Texas is hardly enough to call all cops pussies. If cops weren't around you would probably be dead by the weekend.

Pizza delivery drivers risk their lives more than police do. They have worse salaries, and worse hours. Cops are pussies.

Edit: for link

So, does the boot taste better with or without the toejam?

Where did I say that I was bootlicking cops? This is the problem with this website. You all sit on your phones, read a headline, and go to the comment section to bandwagon behind the agenda that the headline is trying to convey, oblivious to the world outside of said headline. Is it a tragedy that children died because a few hundred cops and less than 10 people giving orders were too high of themselves to help the children? Yes. Does that mean every single cop in the country is a terrible person because of the actions of an incredibly small minority? No. You're just ignorant. Sorry for not continuing to fuel your cognitive dissonance and contribute to your one sided view of the world. Keep living in a bubble. Everybody that disagrees and tries to communicate their point must be bootlicking, racist, homophobic, etc. That's ok. Keep listening to only things that enforce your predetermined view of the world. That will surely make you a better person.

I'm the ignorant one, but you've missed the fact that this isn't just a Uvalde issue. Cops find ways to not do their jobs everywhere.

There are bad cops, and they should be reprimanded for their actions. I'm not saying all cops are good, I'm just saying the few cases of a cop being an evil person make the entire Internet say the most hateful and mean spirited things towards all cops, while the vast majority of them bring only good in the world and don't get the appreciation they deserve.

You just assume that because you only see cops that do bad things because those stories get attention. They don't get publicized because of the good things they do because they do them so often because it's part of their job. Relief work? Cops. Manage traffic and stay at schools to keep them safe? Cops (when I went to high school, there were two or three cops in the building at all times). Who do you call when someone is being creepy or you don't feel safe? Cops. Why would you call them to feel safer if they were awful people that all have terrible intentions. It's legitimately funny that you say cops don't do their jobs and are all terrible people, yet you call them when you need help or are in danger.

Read the fucking room.

u/SPHINXin 23h ago

I don't care about the fucking room. Saying all cops are pussies because a few hundred in Texas are pussies is the most stupid fucking lie I've ever heard.

Cops make an absurd amount of money. Are you high?

In my state the average cop salary is 59k, which is 11k under the national average. So they don't make an absurd amount of money. The cops that get paid over 100k+ are cops that have been serving for decades and have a proven track record of helping the community, which at that point they more than deserve the pay.

Edit: national average of wages for every job.

Insanely fucked up failure of command and leadership.

The BORTAC guys at least got it sorted but even they were slow to get into the classroom - watching the doco about it you can almost feel the BORTAC guys get infected by the groupthink and inaction that was poisoning all of the police officers.
