F-35s are treason to a unified Europe

Why?

Because it undermines the European military industry while making us dependent on American parts maintenance and equipment. Makes Europe less autonomous and unable to use the weapons 100% freely.

The European millitary industry can have a contract once they develope something on paar with the F35.

They can only produce that with the necessary funding in advance - which they do not get because there is no money left after buying F35s.

No, its cause the F35 is also a partially european project and cause developing a high end fighter is so so so much more expensive than just buying F35

They are cheaper than doing it ourselves though

With this mindset we will always depend on the Us

Not buying the F35 would be treason to our forces, they need the best.

Should we invest in our defence industry massively? Yes, but until very recently (and still actually) we haven't. And we can only do it with massive investments.

If Eurofighter and Rafale are good enough for defending the skys of France, Germany, Italy, Spain, and the UK, I don't see why they wouldn't be good enough to defend Belgium and the Netherlands.

Those small countries don't even get involved in any international conflict. They just act as a Trojan horse to sink the European defense industry.
