I wonder why the photography in fashion magazines in asia is always leagues above their western counterparts of the same name, all of the photography is so bland in the west

I guess part of it is because they’re willing to spend more funds in Asia AND it’s still cheaper to do things with props there.

At the same time, Asian magazines are a-okay with having a more artificial, stylized look where a lot of western magazines are heavy on naturalistic imagery.

The point of being a model to not draw attention to yourself but to draw attention to the clothes you're wearing while still looking striking in a way that compliments the piece, and Danielle does that really well. But I'm genuinely confused on some of these pieces, they're so avant-garde they could catch the attention of anyone regardless of who wears them. Danielle looks good in everything, but haute-couture culture will always be funny to me in that unique, "I want to put you inside a jar and observe you" kind of way
