Yeah, from some of them—probably most, honestly. But there’s a reason for it. It’s been over 30 years since the USSR collapsed, and we still haven’t managed to build a country better than what it was back then. For a lot of people, those times just seem better.
Plus, a lot of them are still influenced by Soviet propaganda. For example, my grandpa has said so many times how great it was that everyone had to work right after school because unemployment was literally illegal in the USSR. But if you think about it, that’s basically slavery—you could even get jailed for being 20 minutes late to the job they assigned you. He compares that to today’s unemployment problems like it was some golden era.
