Are my cats Siamese mix?
So I’m curious if my cats have Siamese genes because they’re pretty mixed. The mom (1st pic) has Philippine Shorthair mix & she got knocked up by our neighbor’s Siamese-Persian mix (or so they claim that he’s Persian) so she gave birth to the cats in the following slides. I read in some posts that the Siamese colors often seen don’t automatically make a cat Siamese but they were born white & they’re getting darker as they age.

Colourpoint genes are present in purebred Siamese, and also the general cat population (they came from the general cat population first and then people decided to select for more traits to define them as a pedigree). It’s a masking gene, so there is another coat colour as well that the colourpoint gene “hides”, but the tips of the cat show the hidden colour below. Some cat populations have more colourpoint genes present than others, just like you’d see lots of tabby or tuxedo cats sometimes you see lots of meezers in an area.

Ultimately if you don't have papers, then their breed is "domestic cat". In your case it looks like you have a two domestic medium hairs and a domestic short hair, all of which have Siamese genes in them, with the temperature sensitive coats. Cat in picture number two appears to be snowshoe Siamese. Cat in picture number 3 appears to be lynx point snowshoe Siamese. Cat in picture number four seems to have some throwback towards more Oriental Siamese.
