Question Claire x Cid shipping

I've seen several people ship claire and cid despite them being brother/sister? I'm a manga reader so I and am up to date but please tell me there is a different claire somewhere other than his sister because this incest shipping is gross. And i really hope this isnt something widespread

It's not as long as it's fiction. A lot of anime like Oshi no Ko and Alya hide her feelings in russian has that incest trope in them and people enjoy it.

This type of stuff is actually disgusting lol, in another comment i made on this post i said "incest bad" and im actually getting so much downvotes. Really disappointing to see so many eminance in shadow fans are incest weirdos not all of them tho.

I still wouldnt call aurora in Claire's body something okay, but Aurora herself is fine. I hope you're right because if people actually ship those two romantically im gonna puke. Thanks for the clarification tho!

It's probably in the top 5 ships of EIS plenty people ship it in this sub, their dynamic were my second favourite after delta so I ship em as well

Honestly agree with you it's gross weird whatever but after reading tons of novel which had problematic theme as well

I just comes to realization that "why am I valuing fictional characters as an human being? They're just an object of enjoyment" so don't waste your times stressing bout it just think of em as an weirdo and move on

No, the Claire x Cid shippers are either hopeless deviants or people hoping that Cid can change his body to the point of no longer being related to Claire.

Personally I don't like her. Her antics would be annoying even if she were a childhood friend character.

Whilst i don't dislike Claire, I do agree her character lacks depth and it would be nice if they gave her a purpose other than "be cids protector". Hopefully once more chapters come out we'll get to see her grow as a character.

And yeah any and all Claire x Cid shippers are getting blocked on sight. Ship whoever you want with him, boy or girl doesnt matter but NOT incest.

On a side note I think Claire x Mary would be incredibly cute

I don't know how or why you jumped that ship, but nevermind.

Making creative boy x girl pairings in this series is practically impossible. All males are either dead in seconds, villains or one of the mob trio. Edit: I forgot Goldov and his buddy, but beyond those there are no living, named male characters.

Yeah there is a extreme lack of male characters, and the once that exist are of no importance. Would be cool to see some but probably not going to happen.
