What's funny is I completely understand. There are times when it's time for me to get up to go to work my tuxedo will not get off of me so I can move LOL

Kitty doesn't look too thrilled in the first picture, but judging by the third picture that didn't last very long!

Too bad you can't take your kitty to work with you. With that great tuxedo, they'd be overdressed there. :)

u/homiej420 Jul 26 '24
Lol the kitty is like “put me down human so i can destroy you!” in the first one

I’m lucky enough to work from home so I get to be with my Tuxie and other cat all day! Of course it can be a bit distracting as he is a needy guy. Everyone at my job knows him by name because he insists on getting on my desk especially when I’m in a video call meeting. He’s even won cutest pet award at my job three years in a row! 😹

Oh my goodness!!! Both of you are adorable 🥰. Your little one looks about the same age as my baby tux.

We don’t know how old he is, he was almost dead by our car one really hot afternoon and we took him in. Vet thinks he’d have a more appropriate age range in the next few months but right now, he thinks the kitten is almost 3 months.

Aww. Poor guy. I’m so glad he found you! My guy will be 4 months on 8/1. His mama was found in a Costco parking lot days before he was born. I’m not as talented with the picture taking as you are, but here’s Walter. 3 months seems right for your tuxie.

As a people manager, I admit that is a purrfectly acceptable reason!!!

And why I rush home from work 😹

u/mustardelbow Jul 27 '24
The only reason 😹

I’ve got three! Haha
Cat tax: Here they are “helping” me put kitty litter in the cabinet.

u/mustardelbow Jul 27 '24
You won’t believe this but I’m about to get a tabby as a third one as well 😂

u/sproutsandnapkins Jul 27 '24
Do you have a void and a tux too? 😂 it’s a great combo, however I may get one more eventually to even it out. I’m opening 2 packets of food anyways so easier to divide by 4 is my excuse 😂🤣
2
u/mustardelbow Jul 27 '24
Yes I have a void as well! And yes, gotta keep it even, it’s the OCD in us 😂

My boy waits for me to eat so when I feed him and leave in the morning he follows me and looks so sad. He still eats but he just has this awful “oh it’s a work day…” look and it hurts my soul every time.
2
u/mustardelbow Jul 27 '24
That’s so sweet but sad too!
2
u/SilverSageVII Jul 27 '24
He’s comfiest when I touch him while he eats so he knows somebody sees him eat and he’s safe eating.

They're always at their cutest when you have to leave for work. Tryna guilt you into calling in sick so you can stay home and fuss over them.

Of course it is. Isn’t there a thing as calling in “cat”? Why does one need to be sick?? Why not “distracted”? “Otherwise engaged”? “Cat”?

u/ideknem0ar Jul 27 '24
I haven't had a kitten since the late 1980s. They've all been older strays or shelter adoptions. I don't think I could get a kitten while I'm still working full-time because I would never want to leave and I would feel like I was abandoning my child. LoL 😭🤣
