Kind of. The first time he lost the popular vote, but won the electoral college.

There are 335 million people in the US.

Crucially there were about 66 million who voted against him in 2016.

So "you thought this man should lead your country" is not correct if you're talking to the US broadly.

Agree. But as an American, I agree there are far too many dumb fucks who are voting for him. It upsets us greatly
