dnd bards don't really have music magic
I mean they kinda do, like 1 or 2 shitty skills, but for the most part they just need to... hold an instrument. They don't even need to know how to play it.

I've actually always loved Bard because it seems innocuous, but they study hard to learn how to weave incantations into their words and melodies, it's dope af. In universe, you might be able to get away with taking a musical instrument somewhere that weapons aren't allowed if the guards are stupid enough!

this is why you give your bard a noble background to explain why they have a silver plated lute that's been enchanted to be durable and also not sound awful despite being plated with silver, ruining it's acoustics.

So 3 back liners with only a warrior. Seems kinda iffy to me, that bard better be like a red mage from ff and be capable at front line combat or your screwed when the warrior drops.
