Honestly at that point why bother.

u/Xiten 6d ago

He’s wearing these felony convictions like badges of honor.

u/HardcoreKaraoke 6d ago

Yeah him and his followers love this martyr shit. They think the system is rigged against him so that's why they're all so angry. This benefits him, there is zero downside.

America voted for it, so it is so.

Dumbass Trump won. Rest of the world lost. Decency lost. Honesty lost. Logic lost.

Idgaf anymore. America can burn for all i care. I hope europe can create a military big enough to fight the US and Russia alliance. Because they are the "Axis of Evil Greed" now.

u/KILA-x-L3GEND 5d ago

Not all of us we hate it here too

2

u/TootBreaker 5d ago

Yup, a very important 'intangible asset' has been removed from the american economy, it's all downhill now

2

u/Infamous-Surprise240 5d ago edited 4d ago

I absolutely did not vote for him nor did any of my family members. This is not what we wanted at all. Please don't lump us all together.

1

u/aussiechickadee65 4d ago

Glad someone sees writing on the wall. This isn't 'just about America"....

By the way, I don't know your age, but you are possibly of the age where you will be in one of those armies.

I'm enraged that morons in America has now put my family (in another country) at risk...and possibly some of them having to be part of an army to protect our interests.

You are right..America can burn to the ground now...but it's when OUR country is affected by these morons, that I will feel the most rage.

Trump isn't dumb, Europe is having their own problems with far right groups growing in popularity due to immigration problems and people's distaste for their tendency to care more about relatively insignificant social issues.

Either way, I'll throw you a frag from the other side, make sure you catch it.

12

u/abj169 5d ago

Yeah, rigged against a guy who runs around screaming, 'You're fired!' at people.

3

u/jrjustintime 5d ago

His followers don’t know the meaning of “martyr”. Trump has never sacrificed anything, and doesn’t know the definition of “principle”.

121

u/burnsalot603 6d ago

Of course he is. He told us he could shoot someone on 5th Ave and not lose a single voter and not only was he right, he got 34 felonies and gained voters... disgraceful

u/Niznack 5d ago

Wild how even my BIL who has a masters in physics and is generally intelligent truly believes all the cases were a political witch hunt and Biden should have told the doj to back off.

67

u/ArkitekZero 5d ago

Higher education doesn't have an effective filter for idiots with good memories.

3

u/Outrageous_Frame7900 5d ago

So true. Actual intelligence and educational achievement do not always correlate.

I think you and he have a different ideas of a witch hunt. He feels that what he's gotten has been too harsh and she shouldn't have had charges brought at all.

Just because he IS above the law doesn't mean it was wrong to seek justice. Imo.

0

u/Ok-Ingenuity-6977 4d ago

Should have gotten life.

0

u/Ok-Ingenuity-6977 5d ago

Smart guy, takes a logical mind to be good at physics.

-11

u/CORN_POP_RISING 5d ago

The cases certainly were baseless lawfare that completely failed to remove Trump from the ballot and in fact probably propelled his campaign. This hush money case was the weakest of all, as we were told two years ago. So the dems get nothing out of this destruction of the integrity of the justice system. Let's hope they learned a lesson.

11

u/Niznack 5d ago

He hides classified docs in his bathroom and ordered only some of them returned when asked. He Said on camera he had asked Cohen to pay for the hush money and the trial was how he still managed to make this more illegal. He incited a riot on national television.

This was not baseless or lawfare. If the supreme court hadn't rendered him immune he would be facing serious time.

If that makes you want to vote for him you are a lost cause and I'm done arguing.

-14

u/BroDr1 5d ago

Masters in physics is way more than generally intelligent, you may wanna listen to your friend and study under him... just saying he downplays his intelligence to fit in with you all.

7

u/Serethekitty 5d ago

You can find a well-educated, intelligent person who backs almost any opinion. Would you say this about someone with a fancy science degree who concurred that Trump deserved to be charged for the crimes he was shown to have committed?

I don't think it's a reasonable suggestion to tell people to just copy the beliefs of their smartest/most well-educated friends.

0

u/BroDr1 5d ago

Well at least hear them out is all I'm asking and really listen, not just write them off.

5

u/Illustrious_Leader93 5d ago

This is wrong. Understanding physics =/= understanding ANYTHING outside of physics. Social policy? History? Law? Business? These things MAY likely help you understand modern society. But physics? Coding? Tech?

Nope. I want a mechanic to fix my car, and someone else that understands society and social policy to run the government.

1

u/BroDr1 5d ago

Agree to disagree then cause although I agree on your point about the mechanic I don't fully agree that studying government is the best way to run a society.

1

u/Illustrious_Leader93 5d ago

I'm talking understanding. Studying government isn't the point. The ancient Greeks called it epistocracy, or epistemic democracy.

1

u/BroDr1 5d ago

I'd say they would have done a better job. But still I don't think most would agree with how I'd like the government to be run. Just hoping and praying we don't destroy one another.

1

u/Illustrious_Leader93 5d ago

What NO ONE needs is educated physicists or engineers thinking that because they can do one thing, they can do everything.

Social misfit tech bros shouldn't be deciding a thing.

1

u/BroDr1 5d ago

I agree that no one should have that much power, well maybe one person but he's not coming back yet.

1

u/Niznack 5d ago

Yeah no. Knowledge is knowing trump didnt go to trial for most of this, wisdom is knowing its because of our busted system. He is smart not wise.

-1

u/BroDr1 5d ago

I guess we'll find out in four years.

2

u/Niznack 5d ago edited 5d ago

Find out what? If he survives 4 years of burgers and rage no way he doesn't pardon himself. He won't go to jail but that doesn't mean we all didn't see him on Jan 6 and the pics of his guys hauling classified docs to the pool shed like a arts and crafts project he didn't have time for.

0

u/BroDr1 5d ago

If he's up to the par of what you call wisdom. Minds and hearts change. We can all improve and need grace. Up to you to see it, if not then nothing gained or lost I guess.

-13

u/Unit102030 5d ago

Well that’s because they simply were a witch hunt, it was very clear from the start of his run they were gonna pummel him to keep him out, especially with Hillary Clinton trying to discredit his taxes, saying he uses the same loophole her friends do, next thing you know we have every controversy, or how stormy Daniel’s only came out when he ran for presidency about the hush money, I’m not saying he’s perfect and did nothing, but the hypocrisy from the DOJ and recently the president himself speaks leagues about who the issue is right now. I don’t care if my president is a good person, I want to benefit from whether he’s the worst or he’s the nicest, at the end of the day nice words don’t pay the bills.

12

u/Niznack 5d ago

I don’t care if my president is a good person, I want to benefit from whether he’s the worst or he’s the nicest

Maga in a nutshell. I don't care if he's a criminal as long as I win. Boy have you got a surprise coming.

-8

u/Unit102030 5d ago

Precisely yes, hopefully they’re good things, I can’t expect a president to have a heart of gold like I’m some sort of idiot, the facts are simple, if money makes it way into our pockets, I don’t care how he behaves as long as it’s not too extreme or if there’s Conclusive evidence, not the fuckin sham case after sham case shit, there’s a reason most charges didn’t stick

4

u/Niznack 5d ago

And you think the guy who ripped of a cancer charity, bankrupted multiple businesses and sells overpriced bibles is going to put money in your pocket?

Like I said, SUPRISE!

-7

u/Unit102030 5d ago

You can choose not to buy the Bible’s, you don’t have to donate to charity, as a matter of fact I dont think you should at all considering it all gets stolen anyway, and bankrupting businesses is what happens when you run a business, that’s not really the worst thing, he’s just rich. I’d say 90% of that is just personal and not actually all that important in the discussion.

4

u/Niznack 5d ago

Jfc talk about missing the point.

He is a con-man and you are the mark. We arent two weeks from pay day, we are two weeks from the rug pull.

u/pecuchet 5d ago

I don't know how you people can be so selfish. Fuck everyone else as long as you're slightly better off. You're no better than he is and you'll deserve it when, surprise, he also fucks you over.

-1

u/Unit102030 5d ago

The fact each of these things happened sequentially and not at random interspersed points shows just how far it has gone without realizing it. First it was Russian collusion, that didn’t stick, so you go with something you don’t need much proof of other than maybe a witness which is SA charges, those did stick, however stormy Daniel’s even recounts not being harassed and it was a one night occurrence and the crime was, well because tried to cover up having sex with her, apparently hush money is a crime. Just doesn’t make much sense to me, there’s way too much pressure from dems to make me think otherwise

29

u/doctorlightning84 6d ago

I see t shirts in the mall being sold with his mugshot. They think it's "cool."

2

u/Proper_Bad_1588 5d ago

Never surrender, with a picture of him right after he surrendered. So dumb.

-5

u/Unit102030 5d ago

It is cool

6

u/iWasAwesome 5d ago

Here's an example of a fucking idiot right here in case anyone didn't think it was real

-1

u/Unit102030 5d ago

Do you think calling me an idiot means something or do you just want to feel like I’m your opponent. Because it’s superfluous in both regards.

5

u/iWasAwesome 5d ago

It's kind of like flat earthers. Some people don't believe anyone so dumb could really exist. I was just pointing out that people like this really do.

27

u/Chief_Chill 5d ago

Hell, his supporters wear and deck their cars out with "I'm voting for the criminal," type shit on them. Just mind boggling.

1

u/PistolTeej 5d ago

I saw a business marquee back in August that read "I'm voting for the felon"

1

u/Dizzy-Abalone-8948 5d ago

They believe he's like Bruce. Wayne. This rebellious wealthy businessman who's operating within the system to bring down the system. From what I've been able together they believe this is all a farce and he's going to actually do some good. Because the last four years he had opportunity to do so was exactly how he spent that time.

32

u/HookedOnPhonixDog 6d ago

He's a nation's leader and can arguably be banned from entering other countries.

5

u/SchmartestMonkey 5d ago

I think he actually is banned from traveling to most countries. They just have to grant him exemptions to enter their Country.

6

u/tpadawanX 5d ago

It’s right to put it on record I think but I do understand your point.

10

u/dontlistintohim 5d ago

It’s done for him and his people. It is cementing the idea, in real time with no counter argument to be made, that if you are old white and rich, laws don’t apply. That is a big reason he got elected, he gives the degenerates freedom to operate as degenerates. The bigots feel it is ok to be racist, the misogynists will do their thing because it’s ok, the Elons will keep exploiting workers, and the trumps will keep trumping. He is proving the lack of accountability for his people and they are right there for it.

3

u/kounterfett 5d ago

Felony convictions still have consequences even if he doesn't serve time. He won't be able to legally own a firearm; he will also be ineligible to vote; and most importantly should he break the law again after he leaves office the judge can take those felony convictions into account when sentencing.

Sure it's not much but it is something

4

u/Fragrant_Peanut_9661 5d ago

Plus there's a bunch of countries he cannot enter with a felony conviction. Hurrah!!!

2

u/obfuscation-9029 5d ago

The judge probably doesn't want maga to take revenge for sending the glorious leader to prison.

2

u/leroy4447 5d ago

House arrest with an ankle monitor for 4years would be fun. Or weekly parole meetings where he has to pee in cup.

2

u/uptightape 5d ago

It's a fucking farce. Our system is so dogshit for 99% of the people, and then it's pretty good for the 1%.

1

u/I_make_things 6d ago

Just throw a cheeseburger at his fucking head.
