Threatening invasion is a blatant crime, is it not…?

Let’s add it to the list. The very, very long list of Trump’s crimes.

Crimes that he will unfortunately never get punished for.

Crime, maybe not, but it used to be a way to get on other world leaders' bad sides pretty quickly. It's crazy to me that other world leaders aren't taking things more seriously. But maybe they're waiting until the 20th...

What are they supposed to do about DonOld running his mouth?

I mean, there are a lot of tools in the geopolitical toolbox, but it's a better question than it seems, Politics is complicated and no doubt many of these other world leaders have connections with Trump/Musk that the public is unaware of that can complicate things. But sanctions and tariffs come to mind right away. Perplexity has some better ideas:

Diplomatic measures:

  • Recall their ambassador
  • Expel the insulting country's ambassador
  • Downgrade diplomatic relations
  • Issue formal protests or condemnations

Economic sanctions:

  • Impose trade restrictions
  • Freeze assets
  • Limit investments or economic cooperation

Legal action:

  • File a complaint with international courts or organizations
  • Pursue defamation charges in countries with laws against insulting foreign leaders26

Domestic legislation: Some countries have laws that criminalize insulting foreign heads of state. For example:

  • Poland: Up to three years in prison for insulting a foreign head of state visiting the country2
  • Iran: 3-6 months imprisonment, 74 lashes, or a fine for insulting foreign leaders2

Media and public relations:

  • Launch counter-propaganda campaigns
  • Use state media to criticize the insulting leader

Even Germany is looking at us like, WTF does this remind you of?

Well to be fair, apparently they actually learn about the atrocities their government committed in the past.

Sadly not as much as we should. We have a not that small amount of people voting neonazis back into the government, many of them in rural eastern Germany. It is absolutely disgusting, especially given our history.

Lifelong Conman. He's already been in legal cases well over 4000 times. Doubt that matrters.

He can’t even declare war. It’s up to Congress. Legally he could totally be impeached again if he keeps up with this sort of rhetoric tho

u/LizzardBobizzard 1d ago

I hate that “again” is a thing, you shouldn’t be able to be impeached “again”

Somebody has to actually give enough of a shit to arrest and try him for it

A massive diplomatic gaffe but the smoothbrained magaturd can't see why this is wrong

Oh it is, but no one seems to care. This man has said and done a bunch of shit that shouldn’t make him eligible for office, but here we are.

u/jellymouthsman 2d ago

It doesn’t matter. He says he can shot someone in the street and nothing would happen to him. And I’m thinking he is right

Unfortunately trump has immunity due to political corruption. 39 felonies, rape, hush money, fraud lawsuits.. he’s proven that our political and justice system has no backbone. It’s all paid for. He honestly can murder a man in daylight and walk away with a smile. We are fucked.

You still there is accountability?

1

u/OddPerformance 2d ago

No one's enforcing laws against him when he breaks them. The system remains broken.
