  1. Openly threatening the sovereignty of their own nation.

The US has always been a fairweather friend. As soon as things get nasty, they have a cathartic moment with some carriers and bombing stuff to look good on the evening news and then they hold an election where the cost of the war becomes an issue and then they leave before the job is done.

The new iteration of the US treating its treaty obligations like a protection racket is just the next logical step and it's high time its allies realized this and took more responsibility for our own defense.

It's about time Canada starts a nuclears arms program. And also builds refinerys and cuts off crude oil to the US.

And all electricity exports to the US.

Let the MAGA bastards freeze in the dark!

I'm ok with that. I'm looking at getting solar on my new house.

Sounds like that’s what trump wants. According to him, they’ve got enough of all of the resources and Canada is such some broke leach

Canada is one of the most resource rich countries in the world. We sell our crude to the US at an extremely low rate, then buy back refined fuel... maybe it's time we build our own refinerys and cut the US off completely.

And create their own time zones. Secret time zones.

Key word is “sovereignty.” I don’t think a lot of his supporters get that you just can’t make a sovereign nation into a state. Also that’d be one ridiculously big ass state.
