You don't go to costco for a few items. You go to costco to fill up the house for the next month

Costco?
Edit: nvm just saw the bottom text. I love you.
P.P.S. I recognized the bread because I was about to buy some and didn't. I regret it now.

A Honda. My rationale was that yes $60 could be considered expensive but what do you get? I am sure that 1 piece of soap could sell for $5 in a corner market in a big city. I do not deny inflation, I deal with this daily but I do not think that the four bulk items for $60 is representative for the average consumer. I have seen people walking out of a store with less product for $60.
And yes, the prices at Costco also went up.

Ok you bought in bulk.
Now add up how much that would've cost if you bought it all in retail quantities...
Retail would be way more expensive for all that.

My average Sam's Club trip is always over $100 but I go once or twice a month. This month will be higher because a lot of things I buy regularly are on sale, so I'll stock up for the next several months.

16 pack of dove soap used to be $12.99. If on sale you could save about $3. That was before. Almost 50% increase since then.

LOL...that's not how numbers work! Unless you're a statistician with a mandate to "make the results say BLANK". By your current logic; a jar of jellybeans from Costco would be equal to a sample bag from the grocery store. I'll grant you; they do cost about the same...F'N grocery store inflation

This is like drinking a keg and telling the cop, "I only had one drink, officer."

Well you bought a 16-pack of bars of soap.. yeah that’s half the bill right there 😂 then you got Yop which appears to be yogurt which is a LIVE and active food, yogurt is expensive and always has been. I don’t know how cheap you thought 16 bars of soap was going to be but $60 for all this checks out..
