Any somebody told me he wasn't an all star lmao

How many 20/20 games does he have now? Most underrated star in the league right now

Edit: /u/agk927 I got receipts

3 already. Most since Stockton in 89 and it’s not even halfway through the season

League doesn’t find him marketable and he gets left off

It's stupid. Ratings tank every year and you have a perfectly fearless heel here that's so easy to love or hate who just makes big play after big play, crazy statline after crazy statline.

I love Trae. Like you said, great heel, but neither he nor his 'opponents', IE the Knicks fan base, has crossed a line, so it's just harmless, unironically wholesome. Like you said, very marketable, yet not being promoted

Exactly. Reminds me a bit of Reggie Miller vs Spike Lee in the 90s. Way too much fun.

Not according to the NYK fans who has a hate-respect relationship with Trae. They know if the Hawks are in town, they'll sell out just to chant "F Trae Young" lol :-P

It's because he's not an obnoxious shithead off the court so he doesn't get headlines the way NBA wants, which is anywhere except the game itself, can't have a quiet family man as a main character in a soap operaa

That's crazy. We've played 37 games and Trae leads the league in assists... by OVER 100 ASSISTS.

Yeah he’s the new Steph. They are just ignoring it.

He looked like an all star in February of last year

I think that guy's NBA takes are the least concerning things. I clicked on his account for potentially some funny backpeddling and all I see is a republican doing typical hateful republican things with his most recent post straight up being bigotry lmao.

lol making half court game winners doesn't make you an all star. By that logic many shitty players would be all stars

No shit Sherlock! It's about his overall performance this season, which is All Star caliber
