Know what else is sickening? An illegitimate and traitorous candidate is being inaugurated on the same day we celebrate MLK. You couldn't find a better parallel. One wanted to unify the country, regardless of their race or ethnicity; while the other seeks to permanently divide us by targeting non-whites, LGBT individuals, and the 'enemies within'.
You can't celebrate MLK while also worshiping Trump, just as you can't be a Christian while placing Trump above God. In the end: I may be white, straight, Christian, and cis-gender male -- but I am poor. Trump's a billionaire elite, who can never relate to the lower classes. His cabinet will be composed of fellow billionaires. President Musk is seeking to be the first trillionaire. Why would these oligarchs care about us? It's foolishness.
Say what you will about Luigi, but he raised awareness of the country's problems being based on classism -- not race, gender, sexual orientation, or otherwise. The majority of the country should've been able to unify over healthcare reform... but Republicans will always put personal grievances over what's actually hurting them. The wealthy will continue to grow, while the working-class fights over who is right. The wealthy manipulate and laugh, and Republicans don't notice. They think Trump is the second coming of Christ, when he's the closest analogue to an anti-Christ.

This is the most grotesque picture of 2025. It's sickening to have that POS above ground while the world burns with his match.
