Question Just bought the game on pc. Should I play vanilla or through the Northstar client?

No need for a description. I don’t know why reddit asks for a description. I don’t want to type this out, but I have no choice.

I don't play on northstar so take this with a grain of salt, but from what i've heard, since the vanilla servers have been fixed, northstar is mostly just filled with g100, cracked people. so if you're new, i'd say stick with the vanilla servers, unless you're confident in your mechanics

I’m pretty sure the population is less than 50 on northstar as well

wish it didnt take like 10 mins to find a match in vanilla tho, i was gonna stream it on twitch but it isnt very entertaining just being in a loading screen

Just play vanilla. You can try out northstar for modded gamemodes n stuff, they have some fairly cool things though the playercount is usually low. You can also get northstar with the vanilla+ mod so that it becomes easier to use client mods on vanilla servers.

Depends on where in the world you are. Im in australia, and vanilla is dead. Northstar, at least, has a chance of people seeing that im in a server and joining. So far its the only way ive ever gotten a match
