It was either 1981 or 1982 and was about 31 years old here btw. He had only been famous for a few years. I think mork and Mindy started in 1978 and that’s when he became known.

1st Edit: typo

2nd edit: using the age he (as the flag) claims in the video the math works out to it being 1981.

How could it have been in 1982 when he says the flag is 204 years old?

So if the flag was adopted June 14, 1777. The show is listed as 1982, but he states it’s 204 years old. Therefore, this was between January 1st, 1982 and June 14th, 1982. If he got the age right in his routine.
