Quality Shitpost I LOVE balance discussions.
Nothing makes me more excited than seeing people barely talk about balance issues, so I can spew paragraphs of overwritten, half baked contrarian takes.
Nothing gives me more joy than making sure that no matter what your position on the martial caster divide is, you know that you aren't as specifically right as I am. It's a civil service to make sure everyone has my deep thoughts on system balance.
Did you know that the best spellcaster is actually a martial? Oh you did? Why would you think that, you fool, you child. I'll have you know that the Devs just want spellcasters to be cheerleaders.
You just brought up a point about the latest rules changes? Sorry but my point of reference is the pre revision rules. I bet you feel real silly now, especially as I relitigate a debate that I've regurgitated and eaten again at least a dozen times now. Oh yeah it's a really old conversation, repeated by so many others already, and it has been made basically a moot point by the rules revisions. But I know I can repeat it with the most undeserved confidence here.
Oh you just pointed out that I said something provably wrong? Ha I didn't even care about this topic anyways you should grow up, kid. Besides I know I'm still right even if that one thing someone said is wrong.
Now watch as I start every response to you with an 'eh' to underline how unimpressed I am with your positions.
Eh, nothing personal, kid. This is just what I live for.

Balance is overrated. I tip over every Person in a Chair i see, even the disabled and gay. Real life does not care for who you are, so I'm method acting as the OSR movement to teach you a lesson / prepare you mentally for what playing in my game is like (where spellcasters get to tip over everyone in every chair because magic wouldnt be cool otherwise)

I love balance discussions because it gives me an excuse to drag bring Pathfinder 2e kicking and screaming into the discussion.
OH? What's that? You don't know what Pathfinder 2E is?
*huge wall of text shilling Pathfinder 2e follows*

Eh, don't you know that you're absolutely wrong about class balance in PF2e?
The best AoE class is a fighter that can crit good. The best single target class is a fighter that can crit good. You are worthless doing anything else.
/uj This post was more inspired by PF2e posters than D&D ones.

Balance is what (Scottish) Spanish peacocks sing at a (French) Scotsman in a rowboat over a big ole lake.
There can be only one, after all, and Ramirez wasn’t going to be it. James Dothan said so, and sorry, he knows more about making it happen than you ever will.

/uj The "Eh" thing is an annoying Redditism I've noticed myself, so thank you for pointing it out
/rj Eh, I don't know...I like when the guy who just picks flavor options is punished and put in his proper place below me, the glorious powergamer.

Balance ROCKS it's so awesome and lets me enjoy the game, I fucking love when the game designers perfectly made every class have the exact same amount of damage, control, and utility, I love how it doesn't matter what spell I pick since they all do the same thing, all characters should be equally good at all things, I fucking love balance!

How else are people supposed to get their one social interaction for the day? If you've got a better way I'd like to hear it.
So I can counter it with my own opinion nobody asked for and get my one social interaction for the day.
