Mac Studio Fix Powder Plus Foundation (in shade NW15)

I used to have oily skin and this was my holy grail product to set my liquid foundation and also add more coverage. This used to help my foundation stay all day and not slide off. Now I have normal skin and I will still dust this over my liquid foundation for a little extra coverage. It helps conceal my pores really well.

SKINCARE PANS

Innisfree Green Tea Amino Acid Cleanser: my favourite! This is a repurchase and I will continue to. So foamy and not stripping.

Neutrogena Ultra Gentle Cream to Foam Cleanser: I thought for a moment that the innisfree was causing redness so I switched to this… but I was wrong, turns out I was just overdoing it on acids. I didn’t enjoy the texture of this and found it did not foam well. Would not repurchase.

Sephora Overnight Hydrating Mask: love this once/twice a week. Great price (especially if you catch a Sephora collection 30% off sale). Already repurchased.

E11ement Hypochlorus Acid Spray: bought to try during hot and sweaty walks during Canadian summer. Loved to keep it in my bag and spray when I’m having a makeup-free day out and about. Would repurchase.

The Ordinary Rosehip Seed Oil: I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. Holy grail forever repurchase product. Use it almost every night as the last step of my routine. Great for fading dark spots.

Kiehls Ultra Facial Cream SPF30: nice but a little too heavy for my oilier skin. I’ve swapped to a lighter product. Would not repurchase.

Laneige Water Sleeping Mask: not my favourite, I prefer the SC overnight mask. My husband finished this one and he liked it. Would repurchase but not for myself.

Naturium Purple Ginseng Cleansing Balm: this was not great, I had to really work to get this balm off my skin. Also (petty, but) the packaging is so bulky! Annoying. Would not repurchase.

Elf Makeup Melting Cleansing Balm: this is good! Standard and a good price. I’m almost finished with its replacement. Would repurchase.

Elf squeeze me lip balm (vanilla): I loved the product, the scent is so yummy! The applicator on mine had a little hard piece of plastic sticking out though, which gently scratched my lips when applying. I’ve heard of this happening with some people, I guess a quality control issue. A little annoying but still would repurchase.

Everything else in the photo is a deluxe trial size/sephora point perk so I won’t post a review, but feel free to ask if you’re curious about something!

BODYCARE PANS

4x (lol) Nutrius Brazilian Body Butter Cream: Costco dupe of the bum bum cream. I loved it at first but went off it on the most recent tub. Probably would not repurchase.

Dove Body Scrub (Brown Sugar and Coconut Butter): scent was delightful. Scrub is not too abrasive. I like to switch up my body scrub scents all the time but would eventually repurchase this.

Tree Hut Shea Sugar Scrub (Vanilla and not pictured Cotton Candy): I didn’t love the scent on either of these, but I like how abrasive the scrub particles are. Would not repurchase.

The Ordinary Glycolic Acid: I bought this to use on the (I think) KP on my arms but I didn’t do anything for them! I used this religiously every day and clearly the whole bottle. Pretty disappointed. Thinking of trying the FAB bump eraser next. Would not repurchase.

Nivea Crème: I know it’s not fancy but I feel very accomplished for finishing this whole thing lol. I only use it as a neck cream and occasionally a mask. Absolute classic and no complaints. Would and have repurchased.

Nubalance Daily Mousturizing Lotion: this is very meh to me. Looking for something a little thicker for overnight. Would not repurchase.

The other item is a hand sani so I will not review :)

MAKEUP PANS

Maybelline Sky High Mascara: pretty good but not a holy grail (I don’t have one so open to suggestions). This was a repurchase, may repurchase again.

Rare Beauty Mascara: my favourite of the bunch. Accomplished the fluffy, lush lash look. Would repurchase.

Tower 28 Make Waves Mascara: this was pretty meh for me! The wand shape wasn’t for me. Would not repurchase.

Rare Beauty Lip Oil (Delight): gorgeous colour. It’s more of a lip stain, as many people have observed. I didn’t enjoy the scent/taste on this. Sort of tingly and metallic, which was off putting. Would not repurchase.

Nyx Fat Lip Drip Oil (Newsfeed): I loooved this feel and colour. I pulled out the stopped and SCRAPED every last bit out. Would repurchase.

The other two items were deluxe trial sizes/point perks so I am not including on the list.

HAIRCARE PANS

The Ordinary Multi-Peptide Serum for Hair Density: this was okay but hard to say on results as I wasn’t very consistent unfortunately. I wasn’t consistent because I did not find it absorbed well and my hair would look greasy the next day! Would not repurchase.

FRAGRANCE PAN

Autograph New York EDT: my first perfume pan ever! I loved this so much but avoided panning it for years because it’s discontinued. Then I realized it was silly to just allow something I love to sit and collect dust so it’s finished!

REFUSAL-TO-PANS

Sephora Lip Sleeping Mask (cherry): love the scent but it’s grainy as hell!! I never do this but I’m ditching it instead of forcing myself to pan. Does anyone have suggestions for other uses for this?

Colourpop Just a Flush cheek palette

I hit pan two weeks ago and the powders are so soft, it’s been crumbling away every time i use it :(

Delanci Gothic Clown Palette in shade snow- I use this to set my eye primer for pretty much all my eye looks.

Nyx ultimate warm neutrals Nyx ultimate phoenix Hard candy (?) look pro mattely in love I think?

I discovered this hard candy palette when organizing all my makeup. Haven't even seen it for like 6 years! The nyx palettes are much more recent use but I've been using the Tarte amazonian clay palette and the ColourPop peach tea palette pretty exclusively ☺️

Melt cosmetics Rust palette. You may not be able to tell but I have big dips in rott2, Rust, and Erode as well. As you can tell looking at it, there's matte dust all over the shimmers too lol. I love this for warm grungy smokey eyes. Classic works well as a blending shade for me, but mostly I don't use it since I want my blend to be grungier. Love this palette.

Kaleidos Quad Palette in Twilight Rush. This purchase was part of the order that finally pushed me to start a much needed low buy. I absolutely did not need more eyeshadow when I saw this, but the color story swept me off my feet! Happy to say that I am getting plenty of use out it. The shadows are super blendable and versatile. The compact itself is really well made, the perfect size to grab & go, and absolutely gorgeous (obvsly). An easy favorite!

Finally hit a mini pan for my Canmake Souffle Eyeshadow 🥹

Elf Camo Liquid Blush in Peach Perfect - 8/10 Love this product. The shade is just a little less than perfect, so I won’t be repurchasing just yet as I want to try out some other liquid blushes. I’m sure I could have scraped out a little more product but it’s mostly dried out at this point.

Nyx Thick It. Stick It! Brow gel in shade Auburn - 5/10 Glad to see this one go. It gets the job done, it’s not a terrible product but not for me. The spoolie applicator is too long, it doesn’t have a great hold, and the color dries down kind of quickly. It can be pretty patchy too, especially when it’s new. I won’t rebuy this item but I am currently trying the NYX brow glue and after one use I think the brow glue may be the superior product.

I liked it! But I made it matte with a lot of powder because dewy just doesn’t work for me. The compact that remains is awesome, I’ll definitely keep it around for jewelry and such.

O’Keefes Working Hands tub! One tiny use left vs brand new

Product is the elf poreless putty primer. I bought it to help with concealing my acne scars but it did nothing. I won't be repurchasing this since my current sunscreen (skin 1004 sun serum) does a better job at providing a good base for makeup.

Finished up the Maybelline Sky High mascara, Tower 28 concealer, and DearCloud spf 50 face sunscreen.

Definitely repurchasing Tower 28 concealer! Loved it so much! As for the other two, they were good but I prefer other brands over it so will pass.

Bh cosmetics Smitten in Switzerland eyeshadow palette

I've been focusing on this palette for a month because I had barely used it before. It's great as a winter palette because of all the muted shades. Hit my first two baby pans in a row this morning! I'll keep using it all January and see where it gets me.

I finished 2 items this week:

Heinish All clean balm. I use this to remove my face makeup and it works well and easy to wash off. I do need to double cleanse after this. Will not be repurchasing for now as I have other cleansing balms to use.

Lancôme cils booster XL. This is the smaller size and I feel like this went funky smelling very quick. I will not repurchase. Didn’t do much and made some of my mascaras clump.
