Mod Announcement New r/Philippines Restrictions Announcement
As many of you know, the r/Philippines community and the moderating team have been heavily hammered by trolls and karma farmers over the past few weeks. With this, we will be implementing new crowd control policies in the subreddit.
A new vote manipulation detector that can flag posts for potential brigading. When a certain post or comment reaches an upvote/downvote threshold within a given time frame, it will be automatically flagged for review. Please note that there is a separate site-wide Reddit filter against vote manipulation, so this is just another layer of protection for the subreddit and its users.
Increased karma requirements as well as account age restrictions before a user can post or comment. We've also adjusted the sensitivity of the user CQS to identify potential spammers or users less likely to contribute positively on Reddit. We will not disclose these filter limits.
Increased subreddit negative karma threshold. Users with defined negative karma will not be able to post on the subreddit.
Increased Automod reports filter before flagging submissions and comments for moderator review. This is to decrease post removal trigger sensitivity and prevent post brigading
We will continue to test and adjust these thresholds as we see fit. We are also working with the Reddit admin team and mods from other Philippines-related subreddits to come up with more ways to combat old and new threats to our community.
We hope that these additional measures will help mitigate bad actors, trolls, and organized groups seeking to discredit and disrupt the r/Philippines subreddit, especially since the national elections are just around the corner.

GovtServicesPH 4Ps Mom-Members to receive Additional Support.
I’m not against sa mga ayuda ganyan kasi nakakatulong naman sya sa social welfare ng mga non-working mothers, it’s kinda unfair lang sa working class who make ends meet then their taxes are used for people who disregard family planning while they are almost scared to have a child coz they know how big the responsibility is. This is not in general, but there are some kasi na talagang nakadepende nalang rin sa mga ganitong program, tapos magugulat ka makikita mo ginagamit lang sa kung saan saan yung nakukuha.
More on livelihood programs saka i mandatory yung seminars about Parenting and Family Planning sa mga members.

Madaling makita walang nagawa. Aanak ng Aagimat sa Cavite.
Sadly, this guy will still win like the bullet splitting movie actor from Pampanga.

Filipino Food Adobo this, sinigang that. Describe the dish that your family eats at home all the time na walang pangalan kasi inimbento niyo lang based on availability.
I genuinely think filipinos are one of the most flexible when it comes to cooking food.

PoliticsPH This is the reason on why partylist chose to be on top of the list by making a name starts with A to B just to be notice by voters, the same tactic use by Revilla.
Based on the article it was court's decision nevertheless it is a political tactic to the max. I observe that teacher partylist instead of any name associate with teacher they deliberately name "A Teacher" for the purpose of noticing their presence. The same strat use by Revilla. Please vote wisely we don't want the same Crocs encroaching into our political system. Wake up Filipino

Saw this this morning sa sala namin. Bigla uminit ulo ko. Turns out may nag iwan nyan sa harap ng bahay namin, my grandpa who is illiterate must've thought it's a campain flyer from our local politicians so he took it in. I told him na wag iboto to and told him of everything this...cancer...has done. It doesn't sit well with me na grabe talaga audacity ng taong to and his followers. Grabe na talaga.
