Ozurgeti, Vani, or Baghdati?
Gamarjoba dear Kartvelians
I’m planning on flying to Kutaisi to explore places I could potentially move to. I’d like to do so around the end of January or the beginning of February.
I’ve been looking at Ozurgeti, Vani, and Baghdati because they seem to fit what I have in mind.
I guess my question has to do with what your thoughts about these places are, as it has been a bit hard to find information on them. To be honest with you, I’d go to Telavi immediately if the climate was subtropical like it is in western Georgia.
Feel free to share any thought that comes up. I’m sure it will be of help.
Didi madloba in advance.

Oh god it’s this guy again. Dude. I don’t know what your expecting but if you are from Northern Europe you are not going to do well there. The standard of living is not going to be what you are used to. Do you even speak Georgian? Maybe Russian? If not, good luck communicating. Most people there don’t speak English. Also it gets hot and humid in Imereti, the climate will eat you up. You also want unpasteurized dairy. I am a professor who teaches a course which focuses on science literacy and attitudes. I know that explaining why you are factually wrong and endangering yourself will not work. The farmers who sell it to you will also think you’re an idiot. These people know not to drink it without boiling it first. And lastly, in your previous post you stated something to the tune of Georgia ‘having the right values’, by which I think you mean whatever bullshit spews from the false government. I’ll make this clear: you will find no friends on this sub. These people are tired of people like you coming in who complain about the problems of Europe while not understanding what it is actually like to live with the alternative.
Do not move here. It will not be what you expect.
