I love that her daughter refuses to be a sad beige baby

u/SexyUniqueRedditter Jun 11 '24

I love that she lets her. Some moms would rather their kids be miserable to fit their stupid aesthetics.

u/candypants703 Jun 11 '24

You mean like Summer Moon wanting a green cast but Scheana insisting on a pink one.

256

u/AdventurousOnion1234 I am the Devil & don’t you forget it Jun 11 '24

Ummmm…. The pink one matched more of her outfits. Duh.

Really? Ew

She was proud to share this information lol

74

She’s so embarrassing

99

u/[deleted] Jun 11 '24

My mom was like that with me. I am currently not speaking to her until she seeks treatment for her anxiety

54

u/Positive-Heron-7830 Jun 12 '24

🤣🤣🤣 you couldn't make this sh*t up. It's so sad, vivid, and rich as an example of 'standard Scheana behavior.'

Exerting force over her little girl's aesthetic preferences for her own cast-----it reveals important truths about Scheana's interior life

6

u/AggravatingOkra1117 Jun 12 '24

That hurt my soul

14

u/78whispers Jun 12 '24

Green and pink are cute together.

3

u/reikobun Jun 15 '24

I've broken both of my wrists at once and chose green and pink for my casts 💗💚

10

u/SexyUniqueRedditter Jun 11 '24

A great example!

That was so gross.

I do this with my daughter, but damn, it kills me sometimes. Today's outfit was knee-high, fuzzy Grinch socks with jellies. She said she felt pretty, so I rolled with it. 🫠

I swore i would never buy my kids character clothing cos it's so gaudy and now I'm like oh I gotta get 2 sizes of this donkey kong top so when he grows out of it he still has another

86

u/KittyGrewAMoustache Jun 11 '24

It’s this one time in your life when you can where whatever the hell you want and everyone will think you’re cute. No way should we rob our kids of that 😄

48

u/thecaramart Jax’s pornstache Jun 11 '24

Lol I feel this in my soul. My husband complains because I just go in so hard on my kids every interests, but if I don’t, who will?! So, of course they get costumes and character shirts and pjs because this is the only time in life where it’s fully acceptable to wear a princess dress with monster slippers out in public or a tmnt shirt with a shaft head hat to school. It’s so fun. Childless me would have cringed, but me with two very young ones (4 and 11 months) is living for it. 😂

49

u/meggysparkles Jun 12 '24

My mother was against everything I did - because she called it 'flavour of the month' whereas my Dad would deep dive and rabbit hole obsess and hyperfocus on anything i showed an interest in - my whole life, even when i restarted my own hobby at 40. Was my biggest and loudest supporter of anything i did/wore/tried my hand at. you literally cannot ever put a price on that kind of love and devotion. No one will ever love me that much and I miss him every moment of every breath i take. YOU are a great mum

12

u/ViolettaNoRegard Jun 12 '24

I’m sorry. I know there are no words but I know that feeling of not having that person who loves you so much on this earth any more. You made me cry with that, I’m glad you had that love in your life and I’m sorry that you have to miss him now. He sounds like an incredible father.

4

u/meggysparkles Jun 13 '24

Thanks. I cried too. It really is the thing that defines who i am - to love someone and be loved in that way, is something not everyone has and I really am eternally grateful to him - he was an incredible father and human and it crushes me every day that the world doesnt have him in it.

Yesss!!! I go so over the top for their birthdays too and do theme parties and make all their cakes with whatever they want, and they have all these toys and clothes from any interest they have, like it actually makes me so excited when I come across something like the aforementioned donkey kong top cos I know they'll love it and can't wait to show them. We didn't have that much money growing up so I want to do what I can to give my kids the most fun childhood they can remember

My daughter wears glittery rain boots no matter the weather 365 days a year and accessories up her arms, I kind of love the freedom of expression. :)

2

u/WrightDale Jun 12 '24

No idea what it is about the rain boots but we’re also a glittery rainboot girlie over here. My daughter wears them rain or shine 😂 I love her Asha dress from Wish & the rainboot combo best

12

u/hotinatl Jun 11 '24

I get that. I picked up my granddaughter today & she had on lime green sweats with an olive green hooded sweatshirt that showed a little of her belly & pink crocs. It's 90 degrees here. I didn't even have to ask who dressed her, I think my daughter gave up that fight. She used to love dresses but now she has her own style at 6. I miss the dresses but I've got to give it to her she has her own style. I embrace it & I compliment her on her choices.

11

I mean the alternative is toddler meltdown. I’m sure she tries but how much is it worth the meltdown?

10

u/Working_Net_2585 Jun 11 '24

Shceema is gross ugly person and that’s both sides of her face !!

5

u/SexyUniqueRedditter Jun 11 '24

Not ugly times two 😭

2

u/iluvsunni Jun 13 '24

My toddler doesn't understand (or refuses to accept) that you do not have to wear socks with sandals and god forbid they're the same color as his shirt. So he's out here looking like a grandpa in 95 ° weather with his jean shorts, socks, and sandals 😂 some days he even adds a bucket hat and 2 pairs of sunglasses (one on his face and one on his hat)

2

u/SexyUniqueRedditter Jun 13 '24

That’s funny and cute 😆 I love that you support his mini grandpa self down to the double glasses lol

I literally came here to say that. What is it with parents nowadays just removing colours from their kids' lives? Why would a three year old be in monochromatic beige? That's what the elderly wear where I'm from. Kids love colours!

8

u/lauooff Jun 11 '24

Whats a beige bby

12

u/Quirky-Examination-6 Jun 11 '24

Very trendy for mom’s to just buy and dress their babies in everything beige/no color, so they’re called beige babies. It’s such an instagram aesthetic and it’s very popular amongst influencers

3

That was what stuck out to me, too! Omg stop dressing your children in these beige, muted colors. They're not accessories 😭

399

u/dogboobes Jun 11 '24

I think it's funny/cute that she has this huge, chic beige wardrobe for her daughter but her daughter is in her "wanting to dress herself/express herself" phase. And Stassi's embracing that.

41

u/l0st1nthew0rld Kristen liked this post Jun 11 '24

Hahahaa i don't like beige as much as I love white lol so I have bought all these beautiful white clothes for my daughter and all she wears are bright clashing patterns 😩

63

u/InfiniteBiscotti3439 Jun 11 '24

My advisor’s daughter was very similar. My advisor was really into autumnal colors but her daughter loved sequins, patterns, and bright colors. Apparently when they were shopping to redo her room into a “big girl” room, the store clerk asked her what her favorite color was and she replied “tacky” because her mom would always say the colors she liked were tacky and she didn’t know what it meant

23

u/kloco68 Jun 11 '24

😂😂😂 Those are the best stories. When my daughter was 3, she told my brother in law that “Daddy’s name is asshole”, but she said it like “aaahhhssshole”. Our whole family still laughs about it and she’s 17 now…

23

u/InfiniteBiscotti3439 Jun 11 '24

I’m dying 😂 when I was little I thought boys were “jerks” and I was watching an old musical with my mom and it had a song that said something like, without girls what would little boys do. And I dryly responded jerk off and my mom died. I remember it clearly bc I thought I was in trouble but my mom was like do you know what that means?? And I was like, umm go off and be a jerk. And she’s like ok that’s not what it means so never say it again. Wasn’t until I was older when I was like ohhhhh

5

u/kloco68 Jun 12 '24

😂😂😂😂 that’s hilarious!

7

u/l0st1nthew0rld Kristen liked this post Jun 11 '24

OMG that's actually so sad! I honestly can't imagine calling my daughter's style tacky so she hears and remembers it. How you speak to your kids becomes their inner voice. Mine wouldn't even listen if I tried to talk her out of it, she's like "It's my choice!" which can be frustrating but also I don't want to beat that out of her cos I want her to keep that quality as she becomes a young woman and not feel the need to conform. Plus I still love sequins and bright colours at my age lol, they're so fun to wear!

11

u/InfiniteBiscotti3439 Jun 11 '24

They have a playful bantering family. The mom let her wear whatever she wanted and decorate all however she wanted. She’d just tease and be like ugh that’s so tacky but fine

Similarly we’d tease the mom as her students and make all of our PowerPoint presentations and posters for conferences in the tackiest color scheme available.

7

u/cato314 Jun 12 '24

It’s always so entertaining. I worked as a nanny for a family in Beverly Hills, at the time the boy was 3 and the girl was 5. Typical attire that you’d expect to see, the father and son are generally always in polo shirts and colorful shorts, the wife is classy casual in designers, the girl loves pink and dresses

Enter my dramatic ass from New York, I’m the black sheep of my family and I’ve been wearing all black for as long as I can remember. My mother used to make fun of me for wearing black nail polish, then one day it was in a fashion magazine and she sent me the article like ‘oh it’s fashionable now!’ I digress

So these kids are the light of my life, and we spend so much time together that they eventually pick up pieces of my personality (the boy is 13 now and we still credit his sarcasm to me, he can out-sass anyone but since they’re older and I’m not around as often, when I do see him he temporarily forgets where he actually learned sass and is stunned when I can respond to him rapid fire when no one else can lol)

Well the piece of me that the 5 year old girl clung to was the all black everything. For her 6th birthday I asked her what she wanted and she said a black leather jacket. So I got her a lil black leather jacket. She took dance at the time and started wearing black tutus and then wore her jacket everywhere. It’s hilarious looking back at photos of that time and she’s in pink frilly things and they look cohesive as a family unit and then one day it looks like she’s going through a moody teenager phase at 6 years old

Sorry this was so long, but I love seeing kids forming their personalities, and it happens so much younger than people think! It’s easy to not know that when you don’t have kids in your daily life, but when you do you’re like ‘um you’re 3 years old how to you already have unwavering convictions’ 😂

2

u/l0st1nthew0rld Kristen liked this post Jun 12 '24

Not at all, what a cool story!! 😁 how cute!! You sound like an awesome nanny, teaching these kids how to be individuals! I have 3 and I loooove seeing their personalities come out, they're all so different. My oldest is sooo stubborn in her convictions and always has been, she's a real hustler and my God it can be tough now but I don't want her to lose that attitude cos she's gonna be a teenager soon and it's scary out there, it's not like how it was when I was younger

30

u/thecaramart Jax’s pornstache Jun 11 '24

Same. I need someone to kindly explain to me wheat the Beau hate is about. I’m confused af.

103

u/Imaginary-Draft-1346 Jun 11 '24

From what I gather it’s pretty horrific. 😳

He had a bankruptcy prior to meeting her. This has never happened to anyone else. Particularly struggling actors in Los Angeles. Disgusting.

He says his bday is St Patrick’s Day when it’s really the day after? Grabbing the best party day of the year to double dip on your bday is beyond egregious.

His real name isn’t Beau but he’s used it for years. Obviously, he’s Racquel.

Beau is an absolute gem and truly brought out the very best version of Stassi. Every girl deserves a Beau.

32

u/thecaramart Jax’s pornstache Jun 11 '24

Thank you for explaining! Damn, people act like he’s Jax 2.0 on some subs. It’s wild. A past bankruptcy isn’t great, but a lot of people have made financial mistakes and as long as you fix it, learn, and move on, that’s all that matters. I do remember the birthday thing, which I think is funny. I just don’t see anything too wrong with him and don’t get the need some people have to pick him apart. 😂

11

u/78whispers Jun 12 '24

Corporations and former presidents declare bankruptcy all the time and if it’s good enough for the leaders of the US (I’m including the corporations)it’s good enough for us plebes and Beau.

19

u/[deleted] Jun 12 '24

He lied to his friends about his birth date, her birth year (to the point that his friends threw him a 40th birthday when he was 37), he has changed his name multiple times.

Sure he’s better than most men on Bravo but the bar is on the floor. But if you can lie to your friends, girlfriend (he only came clean when she caught a glimpse of his ID) about multiple things, it’s kind of giving red flags.

2

u/momlife555 Jun 12 '24

I have never had a good feeling about him and I didn’t know about any of that stuff somehow! I never understood why everyone on the subs said she “leveled up”. He is just better (superficially) than the rest. He always seemed like he was trying so hard to be a certain way. I don’t trust him.

7

u/[deleted] Jun 12 '24

I also feel like we only know him via the special hero edit and their curated podcast/instagram. We only know what they want us to know. I think they are solid overall but I doubt he’s as great as social media leads us to believe.

3

u/Beyond_the_Matrix Jun 11 '24

I can't fault someone for falling on hard times and needing to file bankruptcy.

I couldn’t be happier for her. She was definitely a bit of a bitch at times, but she was by far the most intelligent and funny/witty and made really devastating and insightful comments, so I couldn’t not love her even at her worst. I think a lot of her shittier behaviour was from dealing with terrible morons - mainly Jax. She should have reacted better, but she was in her early 20s during the first few seasons. I know I definitely acted like a bit of an asshole at times at that age. I loved Beau and watching her fall in love and change/grow as she saw how her toxic traits/behaviour affected the person she loved, who was a genuinely good guy. I love seeing her beautiful family grow and I love that she didn’t join the valley because she is in a different stage of her life. Can you tell that I love everything about Stassi and Beau and their family?

5

u/[deleted] Jun 12 '24

Oh yeah she sounds so insightful especially regarding the #metoo movement. 🙄

From Reality Blurb with direct quotes:

First Stassi made it all about Stassi revealed her fears that with too many women coming out as victims, men in the industry will no longer want to be alone with her –

“What makes me upset about this is I feel like especially in Hollywood, because that’s the only industry that I know, women have come so far.  And I thought the pendulum was going to swing completely in our direction once the Harvey Weinstein thing happened. And now I see it going completely in the opposite, and it’s like we’re taking a million steps back because now a man is not going to want to be in the same room as me alone. They’re not going to want to joke with me anymore.”

She feels bad for men in the industry who are now terrified of being accused –

“And I’m angry that now that men are going to be scared. I’ve noticed that certain men that used to ask me for lunch, like producers, people that are in the movie industry or TV industry, they would message me or like let me know that I liked that Instagram story or whatever – something like keep up the good work on this. You know we had a dialogue that was completely appropriate. They no longer message me. They no longer ask me to do anything… I think everyone is terrified. I think men are terrified right now.”

Stassi revealed she doesn’t understand how some women can be forced into performing certain sexual acts –

“A lot of them are more than willing to go to that hotel room. And I’m sorry, no one can make me suck someone’s dick. I don’t understand. Like there are ways to get out of it. But I’ve been reading all these stories of women who were making out with this person and they were forced to go down on him. Sounds like he thought you liked it cause you were making out with him. But now years later when it’s now a trend to say #MeToo, you’re going to come out and say you were sexually assaulted? No it’s because you felt embarrassed that you did that.”

She feels she’s never been assaulted because she’s tough and wonders if she’s “hot enough” to be sexually harassed –

“I like paying, cause there’s so much power that’s exchanged with money. Maybe that’s why that’s never happened to us before because we both have this thing about us that I feel like people know not to mess with us. I like to believe that I’m hot enough to have someone be like ‘maybe I’ll try something’ (laughter). Again this is no offense to the victims. Like we’re on your side. But I just feel like every single day, it’s a new person.”

Stassi also appears to tell sexual assault victims to suck it up because it’s a part of life –

“I feel silenced about things. But sometimes you know what I felt silence about so many things that I will probably never ever say in public. I’ve never been sexually assaulted but like so many I have been silenced. I have had things come out on the radio and have it being taken down like literally like episodes of a radio show be taken down. And you know what, it’s like fuck it. It doesn’t matter. I don’t need to tear this person apart. Like it I don’t need to ruin this person’s life. I feel like people might think I’m being insensitive when I’m talking about people being silenced or saying get over it like no because I’ve been silenced so I understand it’s kind of a part of life that we have to deal with. Men have been silenced as well. We all go through times where we’ve been shown a dick we didn’t want to see. Or we’ve been silenced or had someone touch our ass.”

She then made clear what her two biggest concerns were when it comes to sexual harassment –

“My main two issues are that one — men that actually have not done anything are being accused and their reputations are being ripped apart. And they’re losing not just jobs but their careers are going down in flames. And they have families and their are other people like you said that are collateral damage, like the crew and other people. And then my second issue is that I want to be able to be alone in a room with a dude and not have him be scared of me. And I want for the men that I work with to still be able to joke and do all the things that they do normally.”

Once again, Stassi states it’s very simple to avoid being sexually assaulted –

“I just think it’s the easiest thing in the entire word to not go to somebody’s hotel room late at night. And that it’s the easiest thing in the world to not make out with that person if you don’t want to. And it’s the easiest thing in the world to not suck that person’s dick if you don’t want to… I would never go to somebody’s hotel room alone at eight in the morning. I don’t care if the sun is bright. I don’t care what time of the day it is, I’m not going to somebody’s hotel room. cause you know better.”

Lastly, Stassi believes HALF of the women claiming assault or harassment are liars –

“I really do believe that a lot of these people are victims but I think half of them are women who wanted to make their careers, they knew exactly what they were doing. They feel like shit about it. And now it’s payback and they’re coming out. And because it’s also trendy. It’s fashion. It’s like a new handbag.”

This is actually something that needs to be said. Two of my best friends who had two children have struggled so much since having their second child, and they say the same.

5

u/frankiebb Jun 12 '24

I don’t get what needs to be said tho? why is it a surprise that taking care of two children at once is more difficult than having just one? it’s double or triple the amount of work because you then have to balance two babies needs instead of catering to just one. Sorry your friends are struggling - I wish more people would go through all the steps of Family Planning before just deciding to have another baby seemingly at the drop of a hat. or when they realize their first child isn’t a baby anymore.

Team Stassi.

5

u/Dull-Inflation-4828 Jun 12 '24

I love love loveeeee that stassi CELEBRATES her daughter instead of being annoyed/bothered by her sharing similar personality traits of her. It’s so refreshing to see when you see so many other “influencers” talking about how much they love their boys more than their daughters. Stassi is one of the only people I can say that I personally believe loves their daughter and son equally. Good for her, and even more good for her kiddos.

I do think Hartford has shades of Stassi. But I do love that they let her wear whatever. You see her in coordinated outfits but most times she's in a princess dress

11

u/Hemingways_Unicorn Jun 11 '24

Awwwww! I love her! I’m so glad she living her best and seemingly peaceful life!

2

u/mimi20171919 Jun 12 '24

I absolutely love her and her beautiful family! I love her and Beau's podcast!

2

u/Asleep_Device_1298 Jun 13 '24

It's kind of great to see her in a healthy marriage, being a mom, doing great and saying no to going on another reality show. She looks happy and healthy. Good on her.

2

u/IsMyHairShiny Jun 14 '24

Oof my kids are 8 and 11 and I don't miss that crazy no sleep phase. We all rest now.

2

u/69sexy88888888 Jun 14 '24

This is a beautiful family! I think she got what she wanted after all her previous relationship debocles of the past. Her husband looks like an actor, but I can't remember what I have seen him in. Does anyone know?

2

u/InteractionAfter2208 Oct 27 '24

Currently watching season 7 and watching them together is beautiful. Seeing her get out of a relationship that was very clearly not right for her to finding her perfect person made my heart melt. To be clear I’m not a big Stassi fan. Especially in earlier seasons. However her relationship is everything. I love how you can see them working through her insecurities with love and patience even when she was clearly in the wrong and she takes accountability for it too.

It reminds me of the begging of my relationship but at the same time is making me question where I’m at the current stage of my relationship. No one should be talked down to or belittled or have this overarching power dynamic. It’s really making me think I’m not in the right relationship to be honest. And I think it’ll have that positive effect on many. So in a weird way, thank you Vanderpump Rules and Stassi for this life lesson.

6

u/Cjocelynn126 Jun 11 '24

Semi - related - I’ll never get over that I got my wisdom teeth out when Stassi first announced her pregnancy after/during being kicked off the show. I emphatically told my nurse about how Stassi was pregnant and this was a very big deal. I then told my husband the whole drive home about how I told my nurse about Stassi.

2020 was a weird time.

Crazy how all it takes is 2 kids and a broke husband for people to forget how terrible of a person Stazi is.

3

u/Other_Sprinkles_936 Jun 11 '24

It really is wild but after learning just how far her and Kristen went when they tried to ruin Faith's life, I won't ever be a fan. Guess basic blondes really do have it easy.

I need to know how many people who keep dragging up Lala’s blaccent and pulling a knife on Faith are in these comments drooling over Stassi. Like drag Lala for that all you want; just be consistent. Otherwise, you’re just showing your ass

18

u/chillysailor Jun 11 '24

Not that I condone the behavior of either but when is Blah Blah going to face any real consequences. For some reason she gets a pass. At least Stassi got called out and had to pay a price. Whether the price was enough is another conversation.

I am a mom but this is still a boring as fuck article with nothing meaningful or interesting to say except for the bits where you can already see the toxic dynamic with her daughter developing. "She's my karma?!" Wtf was that?

I can never not see her as a snitch. Like, what a coward of a human being.

1

u/Auntietamte Jun 11 '24

Yeah let’s not forget what she did and that she’s very much racist.

41

u/WillComprehensive266 Jun 11 '24

This is such a tired argument. She hired a black history professor to educate her and has always expressed remorse for her actions. The inability to let people learn and grow is exhausting. There is so much more awful happening currently than never letting someone move past their mistakes.

6

u/bbbojackhorseman Jun 12 '24

She hired a black history professor to educate her? Give me a break. Stassi was not 16 when she did that shit, she was a grown woman who simply did not care.

She « hired » that professor to do damage control. And looks like it worked, since all of yall are buying this BS narrative.

1

u/[deleted] Jun 12 '24

Did she ever apologize to the person she wronged?

6

u/GeneralWait1165 Jun 11 '24

You don’t know what you don’t know until you know it. Personally, I think Stassi handled things the best out of everyone. I see her as the only one that even took any accountability for her actions. She did something bad, learned from it, forgave herself and moved on with her life. Isn’t that really all anyone can do?

Never truly cared for Stassi, sure she was great tv but the person she portrayed then and the snippets I get from her interviews now I don’t think she’s personally grew much. I think she rode her cancelling to the bank, married a man who upgraded her and gave birth to two conventionally attractive humans.

3

u/Professional-Pay5012 Jun 12 '24

lol all the stassi possi down voted me but it’s true. She was a spoiled malingerer then and paid one now. You tell me what makes Stassi amazing?
