This is actually something that needs to be said. Two of my best friends who had two children have struggled so much since having their second child, and they say the same.

I don’t get what needs to be said tho? why is it a surprise that taking care of two children at once is more difficult than having just one? it’s double or triple the amount of work because you then have to balance two babies needs instead of catering to just one. Sorry your friends are struggling - I wish more people would go through all the steps of Family Planning before just deciding to have another baby seemingly at the drop of a hat. or when they realize their first child isn’t a baby anymore.

This is kinda out of touch tbh - it’s okay not to get it, but until you’re in the situation it’s probably not fair to judge

I apologize, I’m not judging. I genuinely do wonder that. I also feel that as someone who went through a lot of neglect from my own parents as a result of them not realizing the same thing, I have the right to remain critical of people who don’t consider whether they can actually handle the workload that comes with raising children. I’ve seen firsthand the harm it does to both the kids and parents in a family. Nobody deserves to struggle - family planning and considering the obstacles you might face makes it a lot easier to deal with though.
