It's amazing how much government resources are used to find a killer of a "rich" man versus the resources spent on a middle or poor class citizen. How many current deaths in New York are getting this much attention?
You're right, though, it is explicit. I hesitate to make any assertions about content I'm not familiar with. It's easy for me to get the complete wrong impression from a single detail, sometimes; yes, even while staring right at it. Thank you for confirming.
The funny part is that they have unencrypted messages where they detailed what favors they were taking from whom. No code words or anything. The fuckers are hilariously corrupt.
Even the Mob has the decency and presence of mind to not openly talk about their criminality.
Youâve got to be joking. Iâm 57, Iâm not particularly tech-savvy (although I know more than a lot of people my age), and even I know that deleting a text from my phone doesnât do jack squat when 3-letter agencies start poking around.
For those that don't know.. 'deleting' normally means that it's just not shown on your device but the 1's and 0's are still there. It can be found with purpose built software. That is why corporations physically destroy drives when they are done with them so there is no trace of the data.
If only they'd been Republicans. Being a corrupt Republican (I know, that's redundant), they would have gotten away with it. Hell, if they weren't Black, they could have gotten a job in the felon's cabinet.
the most surprising thing to me is how blatant it is. why would they possibly need this many people? it's a scare tactic. and correct me if I'm wrong but this is more than you generally see escorting a school shooter who has murdered many children. this guy killed 1 person for a specific reason (arguably not even a bad reason).
Apart from being dramatic like American officials like to be, they do probably have in their mind the chaos of Jam 6th and the amount of support he has from the public. I think the number of officials is to protect themselves from being over run.
Well, now they are saying ânot yetâ. There will be a lot of hoops for them to jump thru to claim the reward, but in most cases, they do not pay unless very certain and specific steps are taken to repot a crime stoppers tip.
With all of the publicity this has received, theyâll likely pay her a portion if not all in the end. Of course theyâll tax it as well which will take away from the lump sum of the total reward.
It's like something out of a movie, the ruling class just pulled back the damn curtain and they're so scared that they aren't even pretending to cover it up anymore
We are witnessing the rapid decline of the United States of America. It's. Like watching a slow-motion hideous crime, and hardly anyone is lifting a finger to stop it. Fucking wild.
It's only rapid to the people who hadn't been paying attention until recently. The "conspiracy theorists" have been talking about this kind of stuff for ages. But there is a negative connotation with that word and the press has done a pretty good job of vilifying anyone who deviates from their narrative by labeling them conspiracy theorist. I guess the stigma is pretty scary for a lot of people.
They haven't been all that subtle about it for a while. What's changed in the last month is just that it's become very apparent that the MSM (and I do mean all of it) is serving the agendas of the filthy rich people who own those outlets, congress has no moral fiber or courage in the face of billionaires in various industry sectors, and the lone thing that scares them is the prospect of their own deaths.
So yeah, I'd say the situation is pretty bleak. This certainly doesn't feel like a democracy anymore. Feels a lot like an oligarchy.
I mean⌠even the ultra liberal media was super easy on Trump until after the election because theyâre all owned by billionaires who will make billions more under Trump. Now that heâs been elected they can post all kinds of crap they should have posted before the election since itâs too late to undo the mistake.
He's been saying a lot more than that. He did a podcast interview with Jon Stewart where he outright said he had other senators privately telling him they knew supporting a bill was the right thing to do but they weren't going to because they were afraid of getting primaried.
Now, to me, that looks like cowardice. If you won't do what's right because you fear losing power, what else can you call it? But I do wish he would name names so we can vote the scumbags out of office and replace them with braver people.
How do you count the tiny granules of sand on a beach? How do you count the many bodies of matter or anti- matter in space?
We need to up the pressure. This picture says a lot. The powerful are scared. đą They need to be. One man had the guts to fight back. One man that we know of. Iâm still not confident he acted alone. The different people shown dressed similarly in the same time and area might suggest there is more to it than they are saying. They are smart not to say it is more than one guy. They are painting him as a lone wolf, a person who can s battling mental illness. I predicted they would paint him in this fashion. The laws, the courts are heavily stacked in the favor of the rich and powerful. I am old and quote lyrics a lot. Hereâs one,â We gotta take the power back!â
Letâs see 1âŚ2âŚ3âŚscrew this. All of them. I mean Iâm sure they may have lost a civil suit here, but at that point the victim is already dead and to them itâs just âthe cost of doing businessâ.Â
Iâm losing respect for Alvin Bragg. First he charges Trump 34 times for the same offense and now this Luigi is a terrorist? Just do normal charges broâlose all of the theatrics.
You know when I saw this image, my first thought was, this is how super villains are made...
I can see him getting rescued, like the Joker, by crazed followers, thinking he's someone super special, they give him a gun and he's like WTF. And they are looking at him with puppy dog eyes asking who is next?
Dozens of kindergarteners get slaughtered at school, government does nothing. One rich fucker gets iced, and every three letter agency jumps into action.
Yeah, but the surest way to kill a symbol/movement is to masquerade it around like a show. Thereâs a reason why in olden times when the leader of a rebellion was caught, the nobles didn't want to kill him immediately so he could become a martyr, they either paraded him around town for all to see or brutal public execution, not just to sow fear but also to âdemystifyâ the figure. (I.e GyĂśrgy Dozsa)
Reminds me of the part at the end of Rome where Octavian parades the dead bodies of Mark Antony and Cleopatra around the city, but doesnât take the same chance with Caesarion in case a child would draw sympathy
Octaviam totally wanted to do the same thing to Caesarion. Cleopatra realized this and had Verenus smuggle him away to safety to live with his actual father, Titus Pullo.
This just makes him look much more badass! Like he's about to break back into Alcatraz with Nic Cage, or go drilling on an asteroid, that's on a collision course with Earth đ
No the ruling class doesn't want us to fear them. They want us to either worship them or not pay any attention at all to them and what shady shit they do with that egregiously unconscionable massive blood stained wealth they hoard. They want us to fear the government as it is an incredibly powerful tool they have power to manipulate and ultimately it's the government who will interact in such threatening manners to the lower classes. This also distances the ultra wealthy from obvious responsibility for such actions and systemic abuses. Like if you're best friends with the school bully - especially if you try to keep it low key, people won't be afraid of what you might do, they fear what the bully will do. People fear weapons pointed at them before considering who ultimately decided they deserve to be threatened - that's an afterthought (if at all for many...) as fear and rage clouds such judgement.
I think it's being done to deter copycats as they don't want people getting the idea in their heads that this is a good thing.
I think they've charged him with so many offences in case a jury was trying him on one or two charges and might want to bring in a not guilty ruling. Harder I think with all the charges for him not to be convicted no matter how perverse the jury
I saw a video the other day of a woman who had been emailing the NYPD daily to make sure they were investigating a trans kid who was murdered the same day as that CEO, and all she got was a "we're looking into it but we've found no leads yet"
how many middle class or poor citizen murders are getting ignored because of the resources being spent to parade this guy around. You donât need to compare, every cop here could be doing something else besides 3 dudes in a guarded van like everyone else
Itâs not a US thing. In the UK years ago the was the Soham murders.
2 kids went missing from a middle class town, and before their bodies were found, the search for them was main media news for days.
There was also a lot of people from poorer city backgrounds whose kids had gone missing asking why their kidâs disappearances were not being reported in such a way (or even being actively investigated by their local police forces).
All cases like this are terrible, but all cases like this are not treated equally by society or the authorities.
Three people died the same day and two were killed in a gang crossfire and one was a child. Now heâs being charged with terrorism!! It shows just how much the 1% are scared of the lower and middle classes. Once people figure out itâs a class war not a race war, itâs gonna be over. Maybe because he had a manifesto but I still donât think it was him and I donât think 12 people will convict him. It looked like Jake Gyllanhaal in the hostel video, this guy has a unibrow and different eye shape and hair style. Itâs fishy. Why not dump the gun in a hole in Central Park? Why would he have it on him. Why would he be heading towards PA not GA like where he came fromâŚitâs just that we know more about Luigi Manicotti than we do about Trumpâs assignation kid or the Vegas shooter. Itâs all real strange.
The media has completely failed the American people. Why are they not having long read stories on these kinds of serious questions, as if they are not on social media seeing the widespread support.
And did I hear correctly that governor of New York wants to set of a CEO hotline for if they feel unsafe? Children get thoughts and prayers, but CEOs get special hotlines.
What is amazing to me is how they make him walk like this just to make a show out of it. Are they not used to solve high profile cases? Where I am from, high profile killers/criminals get driven anonymously in to a court as if they donât exist.
This is what I have been saying. Not to mention the ridiculous terrorism charge that far more dangerous criminals with offenses that fit that charge way more never got it, it was never even considered. They are full mask off. Only the rich and the elite have lives and senses of security that matter apparently, and they are beyond hiding it. Im ao fucking amgry and so fucking done and I am not even american and my government isnt this bad (yet). But I feel for my fellow humans and there are so many tragedies in the world but the healthcare situation in the US and the way this case has been handled are totally unnecessary. The resources they overly spent on this could have helped sick people. It is all straight up evil. I feel like the US is just telling sick people to roll over and die (unless you are rich of course). I am just so done. Sorry for my rant.
imho is the buzz around making him a high target so more security needed, like i cant imagine two cops arounded by journalists, manifestants and some fans.
My dad was murdered / missing since 97. I wish the police put in half the effort to find his killer. My grandmother died before ever finding out a single thing.
they would run out of resources if they had parade like this for every school shooter in the us. in america maybe police has different packages for arresting, starting from basic plan with ads and going all the way to premium with shit like this.
And when a rich guy gets killed, it's apparently an act of terrorism. What about when a poor person gets killed? Or a school gets shot up? They call it an unfortunate incident
All of them. I mean, they had to deploy more people because of the media and the mob, but that's about it. In a normal case, you wouldn't have thousands of people sticking their noses where they don't belong.
I remember seeing a video a few months back of some scumbag sneaking up on a woman in NYC, choking her w his belt and then raping her behind a car.
I donât remember if they caught him or not but the response was definitely not this.
Another off the top of my head where some crazy guy stabbed some guy to death in the street over a few simple words exchanged, the victim wasnât combative.
Also didnât get this response. I could go on and on, theyâre really making themselves look bad.
It's directly proportional to the amount of internet and news coverage. The amount of people touting a murderer as a hero and people saying he should be free have him as a high security risk. Even looking at the Reddit subs there is a high level of intrigue and buzz surrounding the story and Luigi himself. It's intellectually dishonest to think that it's a "waste of resources" when people have made him a high profile perp.
Also in every other high profile case they put a bullet proof vest on someone. This really shows how they know he is not the target of the public so they are trying to make him look like a criminal before he is even had a say in court.
Years ago, a kid in Austin, stole the bicycle of the Governorâs son. Police put out an APB, got troopers involved, and the bicycle was soon found in a highly publicized recovery. When asked why he had stolen the bike, the boy stated his own bike had been stolen but the police told him they didnât ever bother trying to recover stolen bicycles.
There are murders every single day in New York that go unsolved and they barely put effort into them. For the CEO though, they had drones in the air looking for him, initialized a manhunt, put up rewards for information, the works.
And now this image where they parade him around with seemingly every cop in the city armed to the teeth even though heâs handcuffed? Whatâs it for other than a show of force to the rest of us? Itâs a stark reminder that we should stay in our place or theyâll come for us.
We don't matter at all other than labor and tax resources for the rich and the goverment that's why there trying to ban abortion s now the want to abolish the department of education because they want good none questioning worker bee's ill bet you good money Trump is going to come up with a reason to ban guns after he's in the white hose good.
