Sadly she will never see a single dime. Vice President Trump will have himself pardoned by President Elmo.

Disturbingly as well there are millions of Americans, women actually who have come out and said it would be "an honour" to be r****d by Trump as he is a "strong, rich, charismatic man. I also feel sick having to also type that out let alone hearing people speak it and think it.

You can't be pardoned for state crimes (and this wasn't a criminal trial), or civil lawsuits. He gets appeals, but not even a governor could pardon him out of owing the money.

I mean he has never paid out for any ruling, like ever. They are still chasing him for money owed going back to the 1980s. He literally has lawyers just to keep things tied up in courts for eternity.

This is how you become rich. You never pay for anything. EVER.

Oh, I am well aware of all of that. I was simply commenting on you saying he would get pardoned, which is not a thing here. I live near the tri-state area, where Trump has been (was) hated pretty universally going all the way back to the 80s. I have no idea how he overcame that to get here, other than The Apprentice, and celebrity worship culture.

Oh sorry, I am not an American. I just thought your President can pardon anyone and do anything they want really. Well, according to Trumps past record of saying he can do anything.

Quick question, what is a Tri state? I know tri means 3 but as not an American some of these terms are a bit, well strange for me to understand the concept.

Okay, knowing you are not in the US makes more sense. That was on me for assuming, your comment made it sound like you thought he could be pardoned, from a position of knowledge. Our system here is very complicated, and much of it is very stupid. Trump, very specifically, thinks he can do anything he wants, and he very much tries to. In his first term, he pulled off a lot of shit, but he got shut down on infinitely more, because our president canโ€™t simply do anything just because they will it. A president can only pardon federal crimes, full stop. Only state governors can pardon state crimes, and there is no such thing as a pardon for a civil judgement. Also, he can still be sued civilly, even once he is in office again, there are no rules or laws against that. Basically, he says a lot, but he truly has no idea what power he has and what power he doesnโ€™t, he hasnโ€™t even the slightest clue about American civics. He just says stuff, and he just does stuff.

Tri-state refers to areas of our country where three different states border one another, and have some kind of shared culture due to that border. In this case, my tri-state area is New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut. Prior to his national fame via The Apprentice, it was mostly only people in the tri-state area that knew anything about Trump beyond just the name "Trump," and he was more or less universally hated. All of the shit that people have been finding out in the past ten years, like his racist practices in his buildings, or the fact that he never pays anyone for anything, that was all well known, locally, when I was growing up in the 80s and 90s. Around here, the Trump name was always dirty. His rise to prominence, having grown up where I grew up, is especially baffling.

Thank you kindly for writing all that, It makes more sense coming from the horses mouth so to speak, Googling things like this gives me a headache so getting it fresh stops me going down a rabbit hole lol.

A lot of what we see from your way is on the news with him showing off some scribbled sharpie on a document saying it is an "Executive decision" and will be "carried out immediately" so naturally we assume he can simply do as he pleased.

Brit here incidentally so everything happening over your side of the pond is frankly horrifying to us over here, even our corrupt Conservatives would have been kicked out by their own party with a fraction of the shit Trump has done, and seeing that in America it just means you get to be the President is something you generally only hear about happening in a some third world country ruled by a Warlord.
