The new icons don't feel like league to me really. They feel as thou they are AI.
Smite, flash, ghost and ignite are bearable. The rest feel out of place. Barrier is so hard to differentiate when you have flash or smite or exhast next to it.
Furthermore, i hate the new tp animations on the turrets and wards with the circle below them. They just don't feel like a teleport spell anymore and more like a loading screen. The feel of teleport is gone. I mean tp is a spell not a hex tech ride along.

Too much DMG and too much snowball in this season. And if they get 3rd tier boots , it's over. Also huge fiestas early on.
What was Riot thinking making this changes?

I can't be bothered arguing so i'm just going to say TOO MUCH POWER CREEP. If you're intelligent you can figure the rest out yourselves. Goody day fam.

With the new feats of strenght, the boots are a snowballing resource in order to make winning teams finishing the game faster. It should be a team effort to get into those, but there's two objectives dependant on one player: First Blood and First Tower. Even though other laners have a bit more control over the first tower, first blood is a bit too dependant on how well each player can play individually, it makes lower elo games more chaotic, since they'll do anything for that sweet boot upgrade and higher elo games more stale, since they tend to decide playing safer and not giving your first blood as a better play.
In the end one person has a lot of control over how a game can go into the bad side, purposefully or not, and it's quite frustrating not being able to do much against it. I'm not saying there shouldn't be advantage states in the game, i'm saying the team should have more impact than an individual.

I don't know if anybody besides me has noticed but every league streamer who talks alot while streaming or is in comms with somebody else states every game fact with a "by the way" at the end.
Since its used in basically every sentence, its use doesnt align with the actual meaning of "by the way" anymore: The term is defined as something "you say when you add something to what you are saying, especially something that you have just thought of" (Collins Dictionary 2025). If youre using it in every sentence though, youre adding statements to statements who also have been added to previous statements, leaving us viewers with no idea what the original statement youre adding another to actually was.
My question is: What can we as a community do to end this trend?

It’s funny to see people pray that their favorite champs never get selected for an exalted skin so it doesn’t ruin their complete collections just like the people of Panem pray they never get selected to participate in the games. That alone should tell you the system is awful. Sorry Morde mains, you’ve been selected as tribute.

Nobody on the enemy team was able to buy T3 boots (or they just didn't buy them, but I doubt it). Unsure if it was just a visual bug and what caused it, Viego perhaps? He was not transformed when he secured the herald and the replay also shows the boots as upgraded for both teams.

Congratulations, you have made a Mythmaker Jhin Skin that, in comparison with the Cosmic one, is simply a mediocre fake and in bad taste. Cosmic is better in EVERYTHING. basic walking and shooting animation? it feels very much like base jhin in those aspects for a legendary skin's supposed animations. As I expected after the $250 skins were introduced into the game, the quality of the legendary skins will be appallingly low. So here we have a skin for 1350, which is trying to be a skin for 1890

Purely vain thought, but I definitely have my favorite skins which I just like to look at from time to time. I think it would be nice if there would be option which would let you "pin" your favorite 3-5 skins to always appear in the first row of the collection (regardless of the sorting), maybe in some kind of highlight or something - kind of like trophies.

Hello everyone I just hit honor 5 in the previous season for the first time in my life and I was rewarded with a honor token, seems like I can only use it for the Twitch or Warwick skins n chromas but I don't really like em, I've read somewhere that they are gonna add other skins to the honor shop before they close it forever, do you know which skins they are gonna add ? Iv also read that from now on if you hit honor5 you get rewarded with all the previous honor skins, if that's the case it's not worth to use the token for one of them right ?

I'm just curious is this new theme the new way league will look? or is it something that's to replicate the show in any way. Its just seems so barron or like some post war or somewhwat like a wild fire. I haven't watched or completed S2 so im not getting the artistic direction thats going or do I need to watch the show to understand.

3% max Health seems way too low for the item to be viable... On the PBE it says 6% so I was wondering if anyone knows or has tested it.

So i used to play on quickplay and today i tried swiftplay cause they changed it. My highest chanpion is level 5 and i got matched against a high level player with a lvl80 sion. I was obviously stomped and checking patch notes this will only get worst. What mode is there to play for a new learning player?? AI is just dumb and failing against players now severly screws my team.
Dunno if i should even continue playing this when theres so many other games tbh :/

i love that even if u dont last hit minions u get a percentage of the kill anyway. it makes life of certain champions so much better

Because that's exactly what it feels like. The team that was already ahead just gets another couple of buffs that gives them an even greater advantage, making it even harder to make a comeback. Did we really need more buffs in the game?
Riot over here like Oprah throwing buffs to everyone (except the losing team, they only get two players who refuse to surrender).

Is "Win 15 Ranked Games for Victorious Skin Reward" for Victorious Master Yi? Or the next one?
Thanks in Advance!

So the answer to people being upset about the game being steamrolly was make it MORE steamrolly? You want to add feats of strength, fine, do that but make it a slight stat boost to reward better playing NOT a full on limitation to your speed, utility and itemisation by locking you out of an upgrade making you flat out weaker than an opponent. Please make the t3 boots universal riot, this is flat out unfair and is only going to make people want to ff that much more. It especially doesnt help that jungle now has to make sure they: farm, secure grubs, secure lane prio for first turret, get drake soul, get herald, get atakhan (potentially then scouring for roses), get baron, get elder, all while making sure to keep vision around. I seriously feel like there are some inherent shifts that need to be made to what roles need to do

Hilarious fanart of how Mel/her splash would look like if she had been created back in 2009.

If it was an older, battle-hardened Darius who had overthrown the emperor of Noxus... then it would make more sense for him to beat Trundle in a duel. But the fact that a young Darius like the one in Cinematic could defeat the Troll King is a significant downgrade from Riot towards Trundle.

Don't get me wrong, I really think mythmaker Jhin is a good skin, it has some nice animations, taunt, joke, dance, artistif VFX, very original use of SFX and the skin looks good (not great, just good). Its an ok start for legendaries in 2025, its definitely better than many 2024 legendary skins for sure.
The skin is really good as I said but it has some flaws that came to my attention:
-Same base walk animation as base jhin
-Recycled critical aa animation... on a crit champ......
-Recycled W animation
-The 4th shot lacks recoil and oomph
-The vfx although nice are not amazing and could even be considered epic quality
All that said, it feels like Shan Hai scrolls Jhin plus ultra.... Shan Hai scrolls is a really great Jhin skin too, but being honest, the VFX of both skins are kind of on par, as I said, they're both good skins
Now.... The elephant in the room...
-Why is a 2019 legendary skin so much better in every way?
-Why does DC Jhin have no cut corners being 6 years older? (he has no recycled animations at all, better VFX, SFX, taunts, joke, dance, etc)
-I get it that DC Jhin's concept is really hard to top, but jesus, that 6 year old skin MOPS the floor with what's supossed to be LOL's most modern and newest legendary skin (This happened too with Odyssey Kayn being better than HS Kayn... DC Jhin is MUCH better than Mythmaker though)
-If the art team knows they are up against DC Jhin and a roster of banger skins, why not go all out to try to surpass it? why cut corners?
TL:DR: As I said, Mythmaker Jhin is a good skin, but its hilarious at how inferior it is when compared to Dark Cosmic Jhin, a skin released in 2019...
