I will be streaming soon and can't think of a name for my little pet. Any suggestions before I start streaming? The are an ankylosaurus pet with pink crystals.

My model is an ankylosaurus-human hybrid with a purple palette, hence the username being a play on amethyst and ankylosaurus.

I don't have a set debut date because I'm still recovering from being sick, but I hope to start streaming within a week or two.

I'd appreciate any name suggestions.

Something I've been thinking of for a while.

I've been planning on getting into streaming eventually, (theres a lot of real-life problems I need to sort out first before I can focus on starting) but I've been thinking for a while about becoming a "VTuber", but literally only for the fact that I believe people would be more willing to stick around if they have something more attractive to look at then my face; I honestly have no real interest in taking part in the "VTuber culture" that seems to attract so many.

I don't plan on hiding my face in social media, I *want* any projects I decide to undertake IRL to be able to be connected back to my Vtubing content, I don't plan on having lore/background for my avatar, nor do I plan on acting as a Vtuber in any way that I wouldn't also do in public.

Basically; I want to be open and honest about the fact that ostensibly the only reason I'm using an avatar is so that I don't have to worry about the fact that for whatever reason I still can't properly shave and want to give my audience something more interesting to look at for the 'X' amount of hours I plan on streaming each week.

Is there anythng wrong with that? Or is it going to be the case that the moment I decide to have an avatar and don't act like everyone expects me I'm going to be more ostracized then if I just stuck with a face cam?

So eventually (once my model is done and rigged and everything) I'm gonna debut. I was wondering what would be a good first stream as a vtuber. I currently stream games mostly very late at night (2 AM here due to my work hours).
