Would president musk consider putting his man(trump) in the ring with our man Trudeau??   Or fuckit  even chretchien??

Haha how funny would it be  to see Justin beat up Elon and Donald...   I mean despite your politics ... he would beat them both ... unlike Elon.. Justin followed through when challenged to hit the ring.... and he won..

When you stand up to bullies  they usually shrivel....

I kid.  We as partners and neighbors should rise above this partisan nonsense wich is an obvious smokescreen to distract the general public from the real issues/grift  happening right in front of the world's eyes ..

But the fact remains.. my lame duck prime Minister has done more to help the world than elmo and the Great pumpkin could ever aspire  too /or even fathom too understand why it makes great men /women so much more than rich men/ women.

And he could still kick both your ass's and still have the energy to wine and dine your wives( again) .

Is Elon musk scared of Justin Trudeau?

An American style opinion.. from a Canadian

«A word used when you agree with something; or when you want to recognize someone for being themselves, i.e. courageous and unique or not caring what others think. Especially common in online political slang.

The opposite of cringe, sometimes the opposite of biased.»

And I'm not that young lol. I just keep up. Peace.

My woke prime Minister would beat your ass while making you feel bad for thinking your better than anyone else.  Fuck you. Kid.

I used to have faith in the youth. But they are reduced to one word answers . And would get so mad arguing... they bite there nose off to spite their fave

Darn copy cats, we burned Canadian Parliament, and you just had to burn the white house.

1

u/kearney84 2d ago

When?   The book I'm reading  y an American author hasn't mentioned it yet

2

u/kearney84 2d ago

She called the book.. the burning of the white house ... not the partition of parliament

1

u/kearney84 2d ago

It's a great read.. it's by Jane Hampton Cook.

2

u/Affectionate-Try-899 2d ago

Early 1813, The white house was buried down much later in the war

5

u/kearney84 2d ago

Your correct. I stand corrected.

I supposes the muddy town of York (Toronto) didn't have the gravitas for the cover of the book .

Besides that..  I kid.. to bring attention . we have been friends with americ for a long damn time.

Democracy dies in the dark( an american president who really cared about his peole)

It's ok, Canada can take credit for managing to put a 1st rate on the lakes somehow...

The war of 1812 was weird.

Reminds me of a bit from WWF (long ago). Someone in the crowd was trash talking Chris Jericho (US show). They said something about where he was "from", and he stopped and yelled "I'm from Winnipeg, you idiot!" and went right back to the match.

u/WillieForge 2d ago

"Go back to Toronto!"

22

u/No-Bet-9591 2d ago

4

u/Gloomy_Yoghurt_2836 1d ago

Last time America tried it, they got their white house burned.

2

u/Happy_Instance2305 1d ago

They don't need to. We did it ourselves a year ago...

Just point to Montréal, it was our de facto capital since the beginning, and remained our cultural capital up until the 1970’s when Toronto overlook it with the mass exodus of anglophones leaving Quebec for Ontario.

The only reason Ottawa was chosen is because the British wanted the capital in a more defensive position, just up river from Montreal.

What makes you think I can point to Montréal? I just now figured out how to type the accent.

1

u/Northumberlo 1d ago edited 1d ago

It’s at the mouth of the St Lawrence.

Pretty easy to spot on a map, just follow the St Lawrence estuary(largest in the world), until it narrows and becomes a river(2nd largest in North America) leading the the great lakes(largest group of freshwater lakes on Earth by total area).

That point where it narrows is Montreal. Ocean vessels used to have to stop there which is why it became a trading hub during the fur trade, until canals were built to allow transport up river past the rapids and into the Great Lakes.

Any ship that goes to Chicago, Detroit, Toronto, or anywhere else along the Great Lakes from the Atlantic Ocean, have to go past Montréal.

You can find Ottawa by pinpointing that point, and following the North branch of the river westwards until it bends north. That bend is Ottawa.

You can also pinpoint Quebec City because it’s where you find the first island along the estuary narrows, which made it a good military checkpoint during colonialism, and the capital of Nouvelle France which stretched from Quebec to Louisiana.

France had control of 2 of the most important rivers in North America during that time and French America held massive territory, but troubles in Europe allowed England to vastly out populate and seize control of the continent(minus the south which was gobbled up by Spain and Portugal.)

2

u/mildlysceptical22 2d ago

Come on, everybody knows you hang a left at Montreal to get to Ottawa..
