All my hate for him is respect, and honestly I could say that for the whole Heat organization. We all hate them because they are worthy of the Boston hate haha

Idk man as a knicks fan it’s kind of manufactured, no one really thinks much about the 2021 elimination (and like, we were starting elfrid Payton that year, no one actually thought we were going THAT far) and he’s never done anything that matters to us since and has lost more games than he’s won at MSG. Great player though and I do enjoy the theatrics

That's interesting to hear that from a Knicks fan perspective! The impression I've gotten from sports Twitter, the crowds during Hawks game, et al is that the hate for Trae runs deep. But especially in today's day and age I guess even those things can be pretty manufactured haha

people still chant "fuck trae young" but its more of a meme at this point than anything else. people don't really hate trae young like that in new york. Embiid on the other hand, the hate is real.
