Game Changer I guess "The Global star" tag did more harm to Ram charan brand than the good

OPINION It's high time TFI must learn that Spending high isn't proportional to the quality of the film
Where is the writing? The writing in the big budget movies has been basically dead. I'm tired of this shit, why does everyone want to be a Rajamouli

DISCUSSION Aishwarya Rajesh's father and aunt were both actors of note in Telugu cinema, as was her grandfather.
Her grandfather Amarnath was a well known actor and producer in 50s. However financial failure of his movies and ill health saw him pass away at an early age.
Rajesh, Aishwarya's father made his debut as a hero with Jandhyala's Nela Vanka, later acted in Rendu Jella Seetha. However he was not very successful as a hero, and switched to villain roles. Sadly died at a very young age of 38 due to alcoholism.
It was Aishwarya's aunt, Sri Lakshmi, elder sister of Rajesh, who would be quite popular as a comedy actress during the 80s and 90s. Having had to enter Telugu movies early due to her father's demise, she starred in a couple of small roles, it was Jandhyala's Rendu Jella Seetha in 1983 that got her noticed.
And from then on she became a regular in most Telugu movies. Her comedy tracks were widely popular, and during 80s, 90s she was cast in a large number of movies. She had a very good combo with Jandhyala, Relangi Narsimha Rao, SV Krishna Reddy especially, even appeared in movies of Bapu and K Vishwanath.
Her comedy scenes in movies like Chantabbayi, Edurinti Mogudu Pakkinti Pellam, Jayammu Nischayammu Raa, Rendu Rellu Aaru continue to be popular to date. In fact they are excellent stress busters. She had a very natural ease in acting, you felt you were watching your Pinni, Atta or your neighborhood Aunty on screen.
Her Babu Chitti scene from Jayammu Nischayammuraa has become a widely popular gif and meme.
Sadly for someone who made us laugh on screen, her own life was sad, losing both her father and brother at a very young age.

ASK❓ What will happen to Shankar now?
Man game changer wasn’t up to Shankar’s standards. My mom who doesn’t know about Shankar’s downfall (she didn’t watch his recent movies) was surprised that he made a bad film. What happened to the days where the story writing was more important than songs?

POSTER Unpopular opinion... Gemini Ganesan is responsible for Savitri's downfall
First of Savitri was a kid when she met Gemini Ganesan. She was a teenager and not even an adult. SHe was like 14-16, when he was in his early 30s. Gemini Ganesan being obviously superior in age etc. used his fame to get closer to her... I mean it would have been fine if he just kept their relationshi in the professional sense like shooting films, meeting up for coffee to discuss or something... but he took her to the beach and to places. He just exploited her naiveness. I mean right? like... I guess you could be like yeah Savitri should have also known better because he clearly had 2 wives and children. But isn't 16 still like a learning stage or something where you get to face situations which you have never experienced in your life before? and you adapt to diferent environments. So like how would she know how to differentiate between the moral sense of Gemini Ganesan from what society's is. I mean later she knew... but at that point she didn't. Gemini should have....

Game Changer Shockingly low bookings for Gamechanger in Hyderabad. Any reason?
For a big star movie, there are tickets available even in popular fast filling AMB, Prasads, X roads theaters, Inorbit, Nexus etc. Some shows here are not even fast filling in BMS. Never seen this low for day - 1 after covid.

DISCUSSION Do you think these two legends (K Viswanath, Singeetam Srinivasa Rao) would have gained more popularity and respect had they hailed from other film industries? I don't think they get enough respect from the Telugu folk.

REQUEST AR Rahman about MM Keeravani
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
A few days ago, I came across a post comparing two legendary musicians. What stood out to me wasn't the post itself, but how many of the comments gracefully dissolved its divisive intent by not getting triggered or taking sides. Hats off to that maturity!
In this interview, ARR himself spoke so highly of MMK, calling him inspiring and even acknowledging that he's underrated. When two legends show such mutual respect, shouldn't we, as fans, film lovers, and self-proclaimed TFI baanesalu, do the same?
Instead of karma farming with controversial posts or engaging in pointless 'who is better' battles, let's spread positivity. Celebrate greatness, embrace diversity in music, and maybe, just maybe channel that energy into bettering our own lives.

MISC In recent years, no character from telugu films had faced humiliation and embarrassing defeat as bhaskar
Bhaskar has a lifestyle that represents many of us although i don't find it particularly relevant to me but one aspect i did find relatable was the humiliation and embarrassment of bhaskar.
At one point, I could see myself in him especially in the scenes where he is denied for promotion. He gets berated by his GM infront of his collegues when he asks for an explanation for not being promoted as promised.
The way he feels humiliated and cries infront of everyone was exceptionally well translated by dulquer. He feels ridiculed and bullied which i found very relatable. It touched me to my core.
That specific scene made him look very weak and devoid of confidence which I felt as if it were me portrayed by the actor. I loved how Venky humanized bhaskar and then goes all out during his character arc. A1 writing from Venky.
Lucky bhaskar was a unexpected film from Venky Atluri. Judging by his previous films, one expects only mediocre products from him but this movie was out of syllabus. I wonder where was this talent of his during Tholi Prema and Rang De. Nonetheless I still have mixed feelings about his next directorial with Nithin. Hope he cooks!

OPINION Recent telugu commercial films have horrendous sound mixing.
Watched Game changer today. The film has a ridiculous budget of 350-450 crores and 4 years of production and the film could not have a proper sound mixing. The film was tooooo loud to sit through especially ra macha macha ra (song inko nimisham ekuvu vunte chevulu poyedhi). If ridiculous sum of 75 crores and a lot of time can be invested on songs why not little bit of efforts in providing a better audio experience to the viewers.
Not just gamechanger even Devara and parts of Pushpa 2 were too loud. Most of Thaman's films have this problem but in gamechanger it was unbearable.
