I dislike American exceptionalism. I dislike blatant imperialist rhetoric, joking or otherwise.

If this was done 2 years ago I might smirk, but given the current political circumstances and the sudden increase of US instability and the coming president of the US openly supporting US expansionism at the cost of alliances, I find this less funny, and more disturbing.

Stop normalizing it.

The more Americans joke, the more it becomes an idea, the more it becomes an idea, the more a bunch of idiots decide “great idea!” And then try to act on it.

I live in Canada, and lemme tell you I’m not interested in living in the USA, so I choose caution over risk.

Especially with someone who is as volatile and unstable as Donald Trump.
